The dangers of Pokémon: Armed robbers used Pokémon Go to target victims in Missouri.
I’m certain that Pikachu is outraged.

“As popular as Pokémon Go has become, that it sends players out into the real world to find Pokémon is creating new, unexpected problems. The O’Fallon, Missouri Police Department reported on Facebook today that armed robbers have used the app to lure victims in and rob them at gunpoint.”

Like we need another hand held device to to distract motorist from their hands and eyes while driving…..

I drive a truck for a living and everyday there are countless idiots trying to drive with one hand while looking at a “electronic device” in the other hand…

As a commercial driver it is illegal for me to use any hand held electronic device while operating a commercial vehicle..
This new Pokemon Go is adding to the madness….

Some day real life will come back, and virtual reality will be a thing of the past.

Back in the day, before I was ever really “online”, I actually “shared” this video with a friend.
By giving him a VCR tape of it.
It is, without a doubt, a work of art.
    (Whatever”art” is…)

IMO they make the BEST Muscato on either side of the lake.
Apologies for the camera in the pic, couldn’t process it out . :(

CUNY Responds To BDS Activism On Campuses With Move To Control Free Expression

This effort to regulate speech on CUNY campuses comes weeks after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order, which could negatively impact the university’s funding. The governor’s order created a blacklist for companies and institutions supportive of the boycott, divest, and sanction (BDS) movement against Israel, and requires the state to end its investments in entities on the list.

<b<Fewer Americans Feeling Proud of Their Country

More than half feel helpless and a similar percent are angry. Nine in 10 Americans lack confidence in the country’s political system, and among a normally polarized electorate, there are few partisan differences in the public’s lack of faith in the political parties, the nominating process, and the branches of government.

    NATO’s Existence Cannot Be Justified

Back when we lived in a distinctly bipolar world, the Warsaw Treaty Organization (WTO) was a deterrent that could stand up to NATO and go toe to toe. But after the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact, NATO began its transformation into a force that assumed the authority to almost single-handedly decide which nations to punish for their failure to live up to «Western standards of democracy», and that slow, stealthy process was accompanied by copious political rhetoric, demagogy, and outright duplicity.

Jill Stein Says She’ll Step Aside If Bernie Wants to Run for President in Green Party

Presumptive Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has invited Bernie Sanders to run in her place, offering him the opportunity to continue in the running as an alternative to the much-reviled Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

In an interview with the Guardian published Friday, Stein went so far as to accuse the Democratic party establishment of “psychological warfare” against Sanders, claiming they
“sabotaged” his chance at the nomination. In light of this, she said she had invited Sanders to join the Green Party.

Who will protect Main Street, USA from militarized police forces?

A radical transformation is occurring inside US society as local police, government agencies and even colleges are stockpiling military-grade weapons, as well as military training. How did this perilous scenario come to pass under a Democratic president?

What Happens After Cops Start Getting Shot?

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.”

“Without serious reform in what’s left of the justice system, the future is not one of officers walking free after killing an unarmed person; it will be one of officers becoming the target of sporadic violence. Despite the propaganda, being a cop in the United States is
safer than being a trash collector. That will change, and officers will become targets of opportunity for those that previously sought reform through peaceful means.”

How Government Officials Deceive Themselves, To Deceive the Public

Especially the foreign services and the military of any country are being paid
like lawyers are standardly paid: they’re paid to make the case for their employer. They’re ‘mercenaries’ wielding words not (merely) arms, who become the more effective to the extent that they can deceive themselves to believe the propaganda (or, in the military case,
the justifiability of their killings) that they’re selling to the public. Let’s therefore look at some of these ‘mercenaries’, in a video about US policy toward China, so that we can tell, from their vocal inflections, and also from their facial expressions while they are saying blatantly false things, whether we think that they believe the lies that they are spouting, while they’re spouting them to us.

    Gestapo America

FBI Director James Comey got Hillary off the hook but wants to put you on it. He is pushing hard for warrantless access to all of your Internet activity.

Comey, who would have fit in perfectly with Hitler’s Gestapo, tells Congress that the United States is not safe unless the FBI knows when every American goes online, to whom they are sending emails and from whom they are receiving emails, and knows every website visited by every American.

In other words, Comey wants to render null and void the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution and completely destroy your privacy rights.
