    I’m famous!

Right wing site Gateway Pundit has blocked my from posting. I don’t even remember posting at GP before. I was trying to respond to one of their articles about a Rasmussen poll showing Trump leading this morning. I will save this screen shot as a momento and a handy reply for any right wingers coming to this forum or Alan’s facebook page whining about censorship. At least Alan does not block people just because they ahve a different viewpoint.

Cop Suspended for Facebook Comment Says He Would Have Shot Philando Castile Five Times

After last nights shootings of police in Dallas many Americans are asking themselves how people could have come to hate police so much that they would begin randomly murdering them in cold blood. While I am not an advocate for hate nor violence, I do understand that they are never born in a vacuum. Disdain for police did not magically appear out of thin air. They were born of thousands of deaths and millions of lives destroyed by police. Yet it is not just what police have done that causes the blowback, but about their attitude towards we the people.

The Thin Veneer Of Civilization That We All Take For Granted Is Evaporating All Over The Globe

Have you noticed that the world seems to be going a little bit more crazy with each passing month? Here we are halfway through 2016, and the rot and decay that are eating at the foundations of civilized society seem to be rapidly gaining momentum. Every single day, all of us take certain things for granted as we go through our normal routines. For example, as you walk down the street you probably take it for granted that someone is not going to pull out a gun and try to shoot you. As members of a civilized society, we have come to expect
that our fellow citizens will behave in a certain way. Unfortunately, the thin veneer of civilization that we have all come to rely upon is steadily evaporating all over the globe, and chaos, crime and violence are all on the rise.

Dallas Police Shooting: Blowback From Impunity And Structural Racism

There will continue to be blowback against police so long as officers engage in horrific acts of violence and oppression against minority communities.

Voters Have Heavy Responsibility in November

As Obama and Hillary demonstrate, the Democratic Party, formerly a defender of the common man, now competes with the Republican Party as an agent of the One Percent. Jimmy Carter was the last Democrat, and Ronald Reagan the last Republican, whose concerns encompassed ordinary folks.

If the Shooting of Dallas Police Surprises You, You Haven’t Been Paying Attention

Five police officers were killed and six were injured in Dallas yesterday when snipers opened fire during a protest of the recent police killings of Philando Castile and Alton Sterling. This mass shooting was a despicable act of murder.

    It was also blowback.

I had posted this identical clip on a different thread a couple of days ago. Then I found an entire concert video of his. He’s very funny. His best line: “If you’ve ever said this sentence: ‘I like him because he’s a straight talker,’ you’re as dumb as sh*t.” It seems we have a lot of dumb as sh*t people out there.

      • William July 10th, 2016 at 10:17

Great minds think alike I suppose. After showing the video to my bride, she dubbed that line to be the best. Great timing, delivery and profoundly accurate.

Need to lose weight? Why not include hair in your diet?

“Sophie Cox told doctors she couldn’t eat without barfing and her stomach would swell up. She had also lost more than 60 pounds in two years and dropped six dress sizes, but doctors still couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her.

Finally, Cox underwent an endoscopy at Cheltenham General Hospital in November 2015, and what they discovered left Cox “speechless” because it looked like “something from a horror film.”

It turned out that Cox, who had been diagnosed six years earlier with trichotillomania, a condition where a person feels compelled to pull their hair out, was taking her hair and stuffing it down her throat, and it had turned into a massive 12-inch hairball in the pit of her stomach weighing approximately 14 pounds”

Got to see them once for free. My co-worker took me because his girlfriend hated them. I think that’s the only time I didn’t feel too bad about hate.

I wouldn’t encourage anybody in thinking that there fringe benefits from hate, though.
P.S. I enjoyed the hell out of the concert
