Limbaugh Hires Lawyer To Sue Democrats

Rush Limbaugh has hired attorney Patty Glaser with the intention of suing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee for “defamation and interference.”

,,,the Democratic Party group led a campaign against Limbaugh based on out-of-context statements the host made about sexual assault. Limbaugh’s legal team delivered a letter to DCCC representatives Monday informing them of the legal threat. Limbaugh has also demanded a public retraction and apology.

The Limbaugh team is currently proceeding from the standpoint of litigating and has not yet made a decision as to whether the DCCC could make any concessions at this point to prevent the lawsuit.

The DCCC “has intentionally disseminated demonstrably false statements concerning Rush Limbaugh in a concerted effort to harm Mr. Limbaugh, and with reckless disregard for the resulting impact to small businesses across America that choose to advertise on his radio program” according to the GlaserWeil law firm’s letter to the DCCC, which was obtained by TheDC. “Mr. Limbaugh clearly, unambiguously, and emphatically condemned the notion that ‘no’ means ‘yes.’”

“Let’s be clear: Rush Limbaugh is advocating for the tolerance of rape” the DCCC stated in a September fundraising email after Limbaugh mocked Ohio State’s new mandatory sexual consent guidelines.

Limbaugh is an idiot, pure and simple. A sane person could draw no other conclusion.

“Defamation” of a public figure is a preemptively debunked frivolous lawsuit laughed out of every U.S. court! StopRush obviously decimated any of his few remaining advertisers.

I’m reading these posts and I’m having a hard time believing what I am reading–well maybe not–typical commie lib remarks–no facts-just ignorant emotion–I can see now why liberalism is defined as a “mental disorder”!!!!–Let’s see who gets the last laugh–of course you brain dead sycophants will never admit defeat!!

    • OldLefty November 11th, 2014 at 05:49

That’s EXACTLY what THEY are saying about the typical fascist con rhetoric that THEY have been hearing for years.

Remember the GOP fundraising appeal to the “visceral givers”??

The appeal to fear and hate that requires you live in an irrational fact free zone??

Did YOU brain dead sycophants will admit defeat in 2008 and 2012 when 2/3 of the voter voted, instead of this time when only 1/3 showed up??

Or are you just doing schtick??

      Get som original material.

Liberalism is only defined as a disorder in the other universe populated by right wing nut jobs. On the other hand, conservative thinking IS a mental disorder; and it can be cured too.

In the four studies conducted by Scott Eidelman, Christian S. Crandall, Jeffrey A. Goodman, and John C. Blanchar
published by the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, Inc, they concluded,
“(P)olitical conservatism is promoted when people rely on low-effort thinking. When effortful, deliberate responding is
disrupted or disengaged, thought processes become quick and efficient; these conditions promote conservative
ideology… low-effort thought might promote political conservatism because its concepts are easier to process,
and processing fluency increases attitude endorsement.”

Ever wonder why conservatives can’t seem to understand that people are not always to blame for the circumstances
they find themselves in? While personal responsibility sounds like it makes perfect sense initially, when you walk
people through the various life circumstances that can render people temporarily dependent upon government help,
it becomes clear that things are not so simple. These studies demonstrate the impact of correctional/effortful
explanations on political ideology, “This analysis also suggests that some forms of political ideology may result
from intentional and effortful correction. For example, Wänke and Wyer (1996) found that liberals scored higher
than conservatives on the Attributional Complexity Scale (Fletcher, Danilovics, Fernandez, Peterson, & Reeder, 1986), an indicator that the former generate more complex and detailed (if not more effortful) explanations for the behavior of others.”

      sycophant

A sycophant is a person who tries to win favor from wealthy or influential people by flattering them.

What rich guy is being flattered here?

I guess you and RL forgot that Free Speech has consequences and he’s suffering those consequences because he spews before he thinks. This will be laughed out of court once they play tapes of his neanderthal talk, but hey, you two could get together and drag knuckles on the ground on the way to that heart attack hamburger restaurant.

The fact that you defend a drug addicted, 4 times married racist who got busted smuggling Viagra to the Dominican says so much about your character.

So your saying(dickkk) that after they put Limbaugh on the stand…and after they have a chance to review every show he’s ever done …and his “preceding reputation” that ur teapeople…repugnantican….GOP(group of old Poontangs) .will be laughing with the fat bigoted hero limbaugh…… ( see it’s not that hard to make up words of others)…we “democraps” as you might call us in your infantile wisdom .beg to differ….when he gets laughed out of court…please come back to this reply and reread it until you puke…..see standing up for what you believe in is great …but only if you temper it with decency…..defending this moron sure doesn’t put you in your sides favorite catch phrase….”patriot”….but you won’t ever get that will you …teatards……teapeeps….teabaggers….so many. Ways to say “your special”…. .

There was a recent article about the GOP hiring trolls to spam democrat or Liberal websites. They were given lists of terms to use but I’m guessing that ricckky doesn’t know what a sycophant is, or someone higher up the rope didn’t know and no one else knows enough to correct him because, I’m seeing that word used by trolls more often lately. They don’t know what a sycophant or a commie is, but it’s on the list. I’m shocked he didn’t use “libtard” yet. I thought they got an extra 30 cents anytime they worked that in.

Well, that, and he can plead with advertisers cancelling their sponsorship that he is ‘fighting liberals and trying to protect advertisers’ businesses’.

It’ll probably go as far as Donald Trump’s lawsuit against Bill Maher who suggested that Trump’s dad was an orangutan.

This is so funny, even today:

It’s desperation time for RL. The campaign against him is working, especially on Twitter. He can take this to court but all they have to do is play the clips of what he says and anyone can hear that he is out of line and just plain gross. He talks about women like they’re nothing. Just the stuff he said about Sandra Fluke alone is enough to get this tossed out.

Businesses that choose to advertise on Limbaugh’s show have no right to expect people to patronize them. There is no constitutional guarantee to x% of profits if a business makes poor decisions.

And irony is having a seizure that Limbaugh & his attorneys object to comments being taken out of context.
