Republican Congressman Expresses Anger About Obama’s Tan Suit

It’s been a fun joke, but Long Island Republican Congressman Peter King was serious. King was also pissed off that the president talked about the economy when an American was beheaded.

Summer suits, according to Rep. King, are not appropriate garb for talking about terrorism or ISIS, and especially when the President says he doesn’t have a strategy to deal with the resurgence of terrorism.

“For him to walk out — I’m not trying to be trivial here — in a light suit, light tan suit, saying that first he wants to talk about what most Americans care about the revision of second quarter numbers on the economy,” he seethed. “This is a week after Jim Foley was beheaded and he’s trying to act like real Americans care about the economy, not about ISIS and not about terrorism. And then he goes on to say he has no strategy.”

Clearly The President is buying his suits from Frank & Oak as advertised on this site. Course as a man, i would not wear their clothing.

Back in the dark ages of the 60’s my older sister was sent home from school because her skirt rose slightly above her knees when she walked. (sneakers, jeans and trousers on girls were forbidden). Clear violation of our ultra white bread catholic community dress code. My parents were told that it was a “distraction”. Mom and Dad, rebellious to a fault said “distraction? we’ll SHOW you distraction”. Two days later my sister arrived at school in a full blown hoop dress right out of the ball scene from gone with the wind. That outfit complied with the dress code. A good time was had by all, not a lot gone done because of the new distraction and the school board began to bring the dress code into the 20th century.
The President should show up at the next news conference in either a tuxn’tails, or a captain America outfit.

So Peter King is the fashion director of the Congress now? Since when does it matter what color suit one has on..When I was 16 I had a paisley colored suit. I also had leisure suits, back then too. Times change and so does fashion…I thought he looked damn good in that tan suit. So Peter King,,,,go screw yourself and any one else who thinks like that can too.
