Boehner: Impeachment A ‘Scam’ Started By Democrats

Posted by | July 29, 2014 11:48 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

House Speaker John Boehner is in denial that extreme elements of his own party, which are increasing in number, is where impeachment talk began, and continues.

Talk of impeachment was cooked up by a White House desperate for something to rally Democrats ahead of November’s elections, House Speaker John A. Boehner said Tuesday, flatly ruling out any action on the controversial suggestion.

“We have no plans to impeach the president. We have no future plans,” Mr. Beohner said. “Listen, it’s all a scam started by Democrats at the White House.”

So, Sarah Palin, Congressman Steve Stockman, and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise are part of a White House scheme?

Let’s see. Ted Cruz shuts down the Government and then blames Democrats for it. Republicans obstruct everything and then say Obama is really the one obstructing everything, the Republicans restrict a women’s right to make decisions about their health and then say the Democrats are waging a ‘war on women’, the Republicans block funding for the VA and then blame the Democrats for a VA scandal and of course, many elected Republicans are pushing impeachment so it’s time to blame the Democrats again.

Bring it! Impeachment is only going to hurt the already hurting GOP. The party of scared, old, white men is PATHETIC and they show it every day. Just watch Fox “News”. It begs the question, who’s going to vote for them once their geriatric base is gone? They already have one foot in the grave as it is. LOL, they’re RIDICULOUS.

    • Judgeforyourself37 July 29th, 2014 at 20:58

Oh, yes, they should remember back to when they impeached Clinton…..how’d that work for them in the mid term????

      • dmac8889 July 31st, 2014 at 03:45

Just fine! The cad is forever known as such. Who did the Republicans lose, and what policy did Clinton pass that cost the Republicans? The Media LIES to you everyday, and your entire Party lives in LOW-Information LaLaLand. By all means tell me how the Republicans suffered by Impeaching the immoral, corrupt, loser of a President. What was the great legislation he passed that made the Democrats proud? Please do tell?

Either you give us DEATH PANELS (to prove Palin correct) or you will pay dearly for voting for Obama’s Wealfare State. How does 85% of your income sound coming to us. Thank You!

Impeachment is so NOT a topic Boehner wants discussed. He should have thought about this while he sat on his ass and watched the TPers in the House talk about impeaching President Obama since 2009. He filed the lawsuit against the president to appease them, but it’s backfiring. Instead of satisfying those on the right who want this president impeached, the lawsuit has only made them more determined than ever to do it. I don’t think this is what Boehner had in mind. Serves him right. When one pokes at snakes, there’s a strong possibility one will get bitten.

What are those Republicans smoking? Have they been spending too much time in Colorado? No, it is not the Democrats, and the Tea Party Repubs know it all too well..

On May 2013, Sen. James Inhofe (R-OK) claimed that President Obama could be impeached for Benghazi. During an August 2013 town hall, Rep. Blake Farenthold admitted to constituents that House Republicans are aching to impeach the president. In October 2013, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) threatened to impeach the president if the country defaulted. In June 2014, the South Dakota Republican Party passed a resolution that called for Obama to be impeached. Sarah Palin claimed that God wants President Obama impeached.

What a JOKE! I read constantly from LIberals that Sarah Palin is irrelevant and now they are basing their entire Campaign strategy on Palin’s recommendation of Obama being Impeached. REALLY?!! Democrats won’t come out and vote for their representatives, but because Sarah Palin suggest Obama has sufficiently violated the Constituiton (by the way she got the idea from Democrat Lawyers) they suddenly can find campaign contributions that were out of reach, and new voters that weren’t going to vote. Now because Sarah Palin threatened to lead the charge to motivate her weak kneed Republicans in the House both political Parties have put the Impeachment talk at the top of their agenda. This is the defintion of Hypocrisy. Just days ago Holder called Palin as poor VP candidate, and now she is at the center of the Democrat political strategy for November. Then I watch how the Republicans feel the need to attack her on a personal level, instead of giving her well thoughtout Op-ed some air time. Nothing changed since November of 2008. The GOP leadership led by the Bushy Team hated Palin and so they have been trying to rid her out of the Party ever since. I wish she would go and take the millions that support her. Where would that leave the Republicans. She still is as popular as any other Republican leader, maybe that is why the Democrats use her standing to attack the GOP, and they fall right in line. Palin is a lot of things, but irrelevant is OBVIOUSLY not one of them.

By the way, there is nothing EXTREME about Sarah Palin other than being a Washington outsider, where she gives a crap about Main Street America, when they don’t. If I was a Democrat I would be embarrassed to say the reason I am now voting for a Democrat is because Sarah Palin threatens to lead a charge to Impeach Obama. That is what the LEFT has to sell to America? How sad. Palin has legitimate reasons for her suggestion, but just because it is not immediately understood or popular, the LEFT has only this to gain contributions and votes. How desparate can one Party admit they are?

    • Carla Akins July 31st, 2014 at 06:53

Please. tell what legitimate reasons Palin has for demanded impeachment, and I am not looking for rants based on your perception but actual verifiable data.

That is simply blatant HYPOCRISY!!! The LEFT being hypocites, how unusual-NOT!!!
