Boehner: Impeachment A ‘Scam’ Started By Democrats
Talk of impeachment was cooked up by a White House desperate for something to rally Democrats ahead of November’s elections, House Speaker John A. Boehner said Tuesday, flatly ruling out any action on the controversial suggestion.
“We have no plans to impeach the president. We have no future plans,” Mr. Beohner said. “Listen, it’s all a scam started by Democrats at the White House.”
So, Sarah Palin, Congressman Steve Stockman, and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise are part of a White House scheme?

When did Scalise say anything about impeachment? (The link seems to be him not talking about impeachment.) I’ll give you Stockman (who has a vote in the matter) and Palin (who doesn’t have a vote in the matter), but Scalise doesn’t fit the pattern.

Scalise could simply have followed the example set by Nancy Pelosi, and unequivocally declared that impeachment is off the table.
He failed to do so. Scalise fits nicely into the pattern of keeping impeachment in the realm of what is allegedly “reasonable”, at least to their right wing base.
The bottom line is though that Boehner is lying his a$$ off. Impeachment is not a Democratic scam, it is the fervent wish of a very vocal segment of the GOP base. Why in the hell should we trust Republicans on anything at all, when they cannot even admit the obvious?

Unfortunately, I lost one of my dogs. 8 years old, muscled up like a prize fighter…she stopped eating and no vet could figure out why! I’m actually being forced to sell…not really my idea, but cashing in doesn’t hurt. I’ll be here for deer season this year….not looking forward to it at ALL! Last year, my hunters got drunk, got into a big fight…seeing as how they’re all armed to the teeth, I’m lucky they didn’t kill each other. This season, I’m only taking 4-6 hunters, instead of 10-12, so fewer idiots should mean fewer headaches….hopefully.
