Is Sarah Palin Ok?
No, really. David at Crooks and Liars has video of a speech this week in Colorado which has us wondering. Usually, it’s word salad. This time, it’s a chopped salad.
We’ve edited down the rambling 30-minute-plus address on Saturday to the Western Conservative Summit, but you can get the drift just a few minutes in. And if nothing else, there were pink Obamas dancing across her teleprompter during the affair, judging by how often she kinda looked at her screen funny, wrinkled her nose, and rambled on.
All we can say is: Thanks, John McCain, for imperiling the nation with your astonishing lack of judgment.

Sounds like many of the drunks I’ve run into over the years. That mixed with her inherent stupidity is damn near lethal.
I love her unconsciously hypocritical nonsense about the supposed Democratic rich and her disgusting use of veterans.

I have not watched the video, and probably will not spend time doing so. NFL training camps are open and I have a lot of sports blogs and ESPN to catch up on. There are only so many hours in the day to devote to mindless entertainment.
But if the conclusions of my colleagues on this board are accurate and she is drunk, this raises a question. Assuming that she is being paid to speak at this event, would this not mean that she went to work drunk?
I readily admit that I have been under the influence of bourbon on the rocks more than once in my life, but never behind the wheel and never on the job.

I am far from a fan, but found it sad. My immediate thought was the same & suspect Rx sedating meds. She did not look well at all – noticeably pale and eyes not alert. Hope she seeks medical help.

I made it through 3 minutes and 38 seconds but her rambling devoid of anything of substance along with the grating voice…and having to look at her was more than I could bear. She seems much more off and obnoxious than usual Please make her stop talking!
