Burger-gate: Conservatives Are Going Bonkers Because Obama Ate A Hamburger

Posted by | July 17, 2014 20:23 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

Earlier today, a Malaysia Airlines jetliner with 295 people on board was shot out of the sky by a surface-to-air missile as it cruised over a hostile region of Ukraine and the compassion pouring out of conservatives has left me teary eyed.

House Speaker John Boehner said, “Many innocents were killed today. It is horrifying, and we await the facts. Right now, we should all take a moment to reflect, count our blessings, and convey our prayers to the loved ones of the victims.”

Another time Obummer ate a commie hamburger

Wait for the facts? Pfffft!

Right wing outlets are outraged that President Obama spoke for reportedly 40 seconds on the incident. If Obama hasn’t gathered all of the facts yet seeing as how this happened today, and in another country, then by golly he should just make the rest of it up. Apparently, Republicans like hearing Obama talk.

Even worse, President Obama ate a hamburger. This is burger-gate. (All the gates start with a B).

Breitbart.com reported on this breaking news of Obama’s lunch and the comments are still pouring in, because hamburgers. How dare Obama eat when there’s a crisis going on even though there is always a crisis going on?

Via Breitbart:

On Twitter:

No cheese for POTUS!

Calm down Y’all Qaeda. This is what really happened.

Obama directed U.S. officials on Thursday to do all they could to support an investigation and pledged support to the affected countries as the probe moves forward.

The President went ahead with a trip to tout infrastructure investment in Delaware and to raise money for Democrats.

But, before Dictator Obama left the White House, he held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin after the U.S. on Wednesday imposed the most wide-ranging sanctions yet on Moscow for its actions in Ukraine.

During that call, Putin informed Obama about the downed plane, according to Reuters.

“I can confirm that President Putin near the end of this morning’s phone call with President Obama noted the early reports of a downed passenger jet near the Russia-Ukraine border,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said.

So he already knew about the incident. You see, he didn’t just find out, then go storming down the streets demanding a Muslim hamburger.

Then the President made brief remarks about the plane at the beginning of a speech about roads and bridges in Wilmington, Delaware.

“It looks like it may be a terrible tragedy,” he said. “I’ve directed my national security team to stay in close contact with the Ukrainian government. The United States will offer any assistance we can to help determine what happened and why.”

Vice President Joe Biden said, “This is truly a grave situation.” Both Biden and Obama said the United States was working to confirm reports that Americans had been on board.

Then the two leaders spoke on the phone with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, offering assistance to help determine what happened to the downed Boeing 777.

Reuters reports, “Obama and his Ukrainian counterpart emphasized that evidence from the crash must remain in Ukraine so that international investigators had a chance to look at all of it.

Obama also called Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak to express condolences and offer U.S. support.”

At some point during his extraordinarily busy day, Marxist Obama had the audacity to eat a hamburger.

As opposed to President Bush saying the following three months after 9/11:

“I saw an airplane hit the tower – the TV was obviously on – and I used
to fly myself, and I said, ‘There’s one terrible pilot.’ And I said, ‘It
must have been a horrible accident.'”

Now I didn’t give Bush crap for making that stupid statement because we were still reeling after 9/11 and it would be inappropriate to do so, seeing as many Americans died. But here you right wingers are, attacking the President after a plane crash where 295 died. You can’t even put aside your partisan hatred for one day.

      • arc99 July 17th, 2014 at 22:18

right wingers on parade here with RER demonstrating their complete lack of common decency, wallowing in psychotic hostility where the deaths of 295 people are nothing more than another excuse to indulge their irrational hatred of the President of the United States.

these right wingers are truly beneath contempt. and don’t give me this both sides do it sh*t either.

              2012 election.
49% of GOP voters nationally say they think that ACORN stole the election for President Obama. We found that 52% of Republicans thought that ACORN stole the 2008 election for Obama, so this is a modest decline, but perhaps smaller than might have been expected given that ACORN doesn’t exist anymore.

How soon they forget. In Sept. 1983, The Russians shot down a Korean airliner. 269 People died including Lawrence McDonald U.S. House of representatives from Georgia.

”There were no circumstances that can justify the unprecedented attack on an unarmed commercial aircraft,” Larry Speakes, the President’s chief spokesman, told reporters at Mr. Reagan’s ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif.

    From his RANCH?

Anyway, on on 3 July 1988, and on Reagans watch, the United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes shot down an Iranian airliner. The attack took place in Iranian airspace, over Iran’s territorial waters in the Persian Gulf, and on the flight’s usual flight path. The aircraft, an Airbus A300 B2-203, was destroyed by SM-2MR surface-to-air missiles fired from the Vincennes.
All 290 on board, including 66 children and 16 crew, died.
William C. Rogers III was the Commanding officer of the Vincennes. In 1990, Capt. Rogers was awarded the Legion of Merit decoration “for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service as commanding officer , from April 1987 to May 1989.” The award was given for his service as the Commanding Officer of the Vincennes, and the citation made no mention of the downing of Iran Air 655.

The men of the Vincennes were all awarded combat-action ribbons. Commander Lustig, the air-warfare coordinator, even won the navy’s Commendation Medal for “heroic achievement,” his “ability to maintain his poise and confidence under fire

Have you noticed that every time there is a tragedy, a republican president is on vacation? And we know Congress is never around except for Issa hearings, but every time something happens, Obama always seems to be at the white house. I did hear he is going to Camp David this weekend though. Thanks William. This historical context along with the crude, imbecilic comments from Obama-haters in recent threads in this forum illustrate, in my opinion the complete intellectual bankruptcy of so many on the political right.

Psychotic hatred of this President is the only core belief any of them demonstrate. It is sad and ugly. It is also the reason why I believe that if I am ever in the unwelcome and hopefully unlikely position of having to use my firearm to defend my home and family, it is far more likely that it will be a defense against people like them, as opposed to any agent of government.

      • William July 18th, 2014 at 09:36

It is also the reason why I believe that if I am ever in the unwelcome and hopefully unlikely position of having to use my firearm to defend my home and family, it is far more likely that it will be a defense against people like them, as opposed to any agent of government.

” it is far more likely that it will be a defense against people like them”,
        and you would prevail.
The pitchfork and torch mob mentality that fuels ignorance of the rule of law, history or even basic facts, is precisely the same mentality that blinds angry bottom feeders to the basic principles of tactics and the science of warfare.

Not the place to go on this. What did they want him to do? Fast? (Hey, uhm, all you “He’s a mooslim” nuts sitting in my tent. My boss is a muslim. Guess what he’s NOT doing for almost 28 days now?)

    Man’s gotta eat.

Conservative pundits demand saber-rattling now — we can determine the details of the rocket attack on the airliner later.

Furthermore, doesn’t Obama know that he’s supposed to be solving the nation’s problems 24/7?
After all, that’s what Reagan and GW Bush did, right?

Oh my God! Obama went out to lunch for a cheeseburger. Impeach him now!!!
