Prosecutors Target “John Doe” WI Gov. Scott Walker

Oh, my! It looks more and more as if a GOP “Golden Boy” who clearly had his eye on even higher office is just another elected crook.

Prosecutors allege that Gov. Scott Walker was at the center of an effort to illegally coordinate fundraising among conservative groups to help his campaign and those of Republican senators fend off recall elections during 2011 and ’12, according to documents unsealed Thursday.

In the documents, prosecutors lay out what they call a “criminal scheme” to bypass state election laws by Walker, his campaign and two top deputies — R.J. Johnson and Deborah Jordahl.

The governor and his close confidants helped raise money and control spending through 12 conservative groups during the recall elections, according to the prosecutors’ filings.

The documents include an email in which Walker tells Karl Rove, former top adviser to President George W. Bush, that Johnson would lead the coordination campaign. Johnson is also chief adviser to Wisconsin Club for Growth, a conservative group active in the recall elections.

“Bottom-line: R.J. helps keep in place a team that is wildly successful in Wisconsin. We are running 9 recall elections and it will be like 9 congressional markets in every market in the state (and Twin Cities),” Walker wrote to Rove on May 4, 2011.

A federal judge unsealed the court documents Thursday as part of a lawsuit attempting to halt the secret investigation into the so-called John Doe probe into the recall elections.

Maybe all that Koch brothers money can buy Walker a top-flight criminal defense attorney. it looks as if he needs it.

Shame on you, Alan…for spreading lies. Read the local newspaper: “missing from all these accounts was one small fact: Shortly after prosecutors made the “criminal scheme” charge, it was rejected by the presiding judge, Gregory Peterson.” ha ha!

SCOTT WALKER WAS NEVER THE TARGET OF THE CRIMINAL PROBE

Randall Crocker, an attorney for the special prosecutor, that when the probe was halted, the Republican governor had neither
been served with a subpoena, nor was he among the targeted individuals.
The probe was stopped by a federal judge, whose ruling is under appeal.

“At the time the investigation was halted, Gov. Walker was not a target
of the investigation. At no time has he been served with a subpoena.”

LOL! Walker’s Admin already has a dozen Felony convictions. Now he and his Koch Bros funded crime syndicate were nabbed by the Special Prosecutors 2013 Evidence, just released: -In the documents, prosecutors laid out what they call an extensive “criminal scheme” to bypass state election laws by Walker, his campaign and two top Republican political operatives — R.J. Johnson and Deborah Jordahl. No one has been charged, but this marks the prosecutors’ most detailed account of the investigation yet.

-Koch Bros Tea Party ‘bagged’ in dragnet! Beginning in March 2011, there were (Illegal) “open and express discussions” of the need to coordinate the activities of entities like Americans for Prosperity, Wisconsin Club for Growth, the Republican Party of Wisconsin, the Republican State Leadership Committee and the Republican Governors Association, special prosecutor Francis Schmitz wrote. Conference calls were held between the Walker campaign, the governors association and the business lobbying group Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, he wrote. http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/john-doe-prosecutors-allege-scott-walker-at-center-of-criminal-scheme-263839791.html (Record low 15% TP Approval 5/14/14 CBS:)
