Wingnuts Outraged Michelle Obama Is Concerned Over Kidnapped Nigerian School Girls

Posted by | May 11, 2014 07:27 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

Michelle Obama took over the President’s weekly radio address on Saturday to criticize the kidnapping of hundreds of Nigerian schoolgirls. Ms.Obama called it an “unconscionable act” and deemed the act, in this case by Boko Haram, as “grown men attempting to snuff out the aspirations of young girls.”

She said, “In these girls, Barack and I see our own daughters. We see their hopes, their dreams and we can only imagine the anguish their parents are feeling right now.”

Totally evil, right? Wingnuts think so.

On several social sites I couldn’t find one supportive comment. On Twitter, Republicans photoshopped an image of Ms. Obama holding a “Bring Back Our Girls” sign to a Benghazi sign, naturally.

Via Newsmax:

Via Free Republic. (I can’t believe I actually went there):

Actor James Woods, noted wingnut:

This big dummy is running for Congress (according to his Twitter profile):

In honor of Mr. Ben Ghazi, they circulated this photoshopped image:

There are over 200 schoolgirls held captive by a terrorist organization. This shouldn’t be about politics. We should be united in this cause but obviously their hatred toward our First Lady trumps concern for 220 abducted schoolgirls who are to be sold for $12.00.

once again we see exactly what the base of the Republican party is thinking.

I and millions of other black folks are supposed to consider participating in a Republican party which harbors this obscene garbage?

    . are you ****ing crazy?

      “are you ****ing crazy?”

      Yes, yes they are.

Agree. They’ve waiting since the 1960’s, suppressing their hatred until once again, racism came out in the open and they are now free to express their hatred openly.

They didn’t repress it all that much in the 80s, to be honest. Reagan the Scumbag opened his 1984 campaign in the town where three civil rights workers were murdered in the 60s. All his trashing of “welfare queens” and “people taking government handouts” was obvious racist filth code for “black people.”

I am white and I am so mad and disgusted by that human garbage that wrote those comments. My comfort is picturing them spending eternity in hell where they belong. They are ignorant but they are worse than ignorant; they are absolutely evil too.

Nobody with any decency or humanity would wish the genocidal torture chambers on anyone, no matter what.

It is a horrible and savage thing to wish people to be tortured forever for any reason, and especially for them to be punished eternally for finite crimes..

It’s the most evil concept ever devised.

        Bar none.

But Jesus will burn you forever for just not believing in him?

So for ‘us’ to wish that these kidnappers suffer the same fate is bad. But for Jesus to torture Ghandi forever is…? What? Okay?

I would suspect that the GOP and the right wing has the attitude, “Ah. it’s only a bunch of little M—-er kids , not real people.”

If the world can’t come together collectively and be outraged that young women were roused out of sleep, at their school, kidnapped, and are being threatened with death or forced “marriage”—then the world is done.

I don’t think I have read such a disgusting collection of comments from right wing human garbage below. The vicious filth will turn a decent person’s stomach. The are ignorant, racists. The are callous and indifferent to the death of children just because they are black. They are each and all headed to hell.

    • Aquaria May 11th, 2014 at 15:24

See above for why this is an utterly horrifying thing to think.

    • rmesa May 11th, 2014 at 16:10

Right wing is racist yet the left is the ones always bringing up the issue of race. Democrats are the biggest race baiters out there. Check your ignorance

      • Anomaly 100 May 11th, 2014 at 17:37

” the left is the ones always bringing up the issue of race.”

IKR! Gosh, leftists are so stupid to bring up a problem. It’s much better to just ignore it, amirite?

      • Andrew Babin May 11th, 2014 at 18:25

Oh so when conservatives make comments like, “would this idiot so called undignified ‘first’ lady comment if these girls are white?” and “Why is it only ‘black’ that they see as their children? … Why only the black ones???” and “Interesting that she calls the African girls ‘our girls'”, they aren’t bringing up issues of race?

Correct me if I’m wrong but Michelle Obama said NOTHING about wanting to rescue 200 young girls that were kidnapped because of the color of their skin. Right wingers were the ones who jumped to that conclusion. They saw what she said and INSTANTLY figured it must have something to do with her being black. And we’re the ones who are race baiting?! Give me a f****** break.

    • Don Berghuis May 11th, 2014 at 21:05

No, I think Mrs Obama meant that she looked at her daughters and the Nigerian girls as sisters and that she grieved for them as she would for her own daughters—not just because the Nigerian girls were black. If the girls had been abducted from some place that was essentially a white area and the girls were white, she would have said muc h the same thing—-given that children were abducted for an ideological reason. Don’t make human concern from the FLOTUS into a racial thing.

      • VIsidore` May 12th, 2014 at 16:06

“Human race” is everyone. I didn’t write “black girls.” What FLOTUS said is not racial.
