Report: Darren Wilson Helped Save A Black Infant Just Before The Brown Call

Posted by | December 3, 2014 14:00 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson had been called to help a sick infant in a Section 8 housing complex right before the call to pursue Michael Brown came in.

…prior to Officer Wilson responding to the video tape recorded robbery Brown was implicated in, Wilson was busy ensuring a sick child was safe, and that both mother and child were safely and quickly transported to a local hospital. On the day of the shooting Wilson responded at 11:45 a.m. to the Northwinds Apartment Complex for an “emergency involving a 2-year-old child who had trouble breathing” as well as reportedly running a fever. At 11:53 a.m. while still at the Northwinds Apartments, Wilson heard a radio call involving a theft at a market on West Florissant Avenue, just a few blocks away. It was then that Wilson made the judgment call to remain with the sickly child as well as the child’s mother until an ambulance arrived. Only when sure health care professionals were on scene to transport mother and child to the hospital did Officer Wilson respond to the theft call.

Brown attacked the cop trying to take his gun in the car. There is forensic evidence of this. Then he was charging at the cop and was killed. Many black witnesses said this. Brown was a thug who had no respect for the police.

when someone takes the time to find such a ridiculous and childish avatar you know they are racists and have no idea how to spell KKK

True that–I didn’t even look at it until you mentioned it. I’m really sick of that crap.
Maybe the KK is the women’s auxiliary to the KKK? We’ll probably never know for sure.

Except there isn’t. Wilson was allowed to leave the scene without an escort, he washed away blood evidence, he checked in his own weapon, measurements were not taken by the crime tech, no incident report was completed within 24 hours, gun residue was washed and lost after leaving Brown’s body outside and his hands weren’t checked. We have no idea what happened in those few minutes. Wilson claimed he made a radio call but no record can be found. Of the 11 witnesses, six state he had his hands up and was more than a hundred feet away, slowly walking, stumbling back – he was not charging.

All of this can be found in the actual transcripts as opposed to taking someone else’s word for it. I don’t know enough about Brown to call him a thug and I’m betting you don’t either. He most likely had no respect for the police – why would he, I certainly don’t. At least in Ferguson there’s a long and storied history of racism and corruption that was evident in every action by law enforcement, administration, and court officials. McCullough gave improper jury instructions to slant their opinion. We will never know the truth of what happened because Ferguson law enforcement has bungled and covered up.

IIRC, that incident report wasn’t seen for at least a couple weeks. It looks like Wilson used that time to refine his story. I would have expected that a report has to be filed within a certain amount of time when any cop discharges his firearm, especially when someone dies. If this had gone to court, he would have had to answer for these discrepancies. Although, I’m hoping that a civil suit may still be filed where the burden of proof is lesser and Wilson will have to answer questions that are posed to him.

My son’s father in law is a homicide det in KC and he said that although protocol can differ from one division to the next he was pretty comfortable in stating that SOP is to immediate bring a Sgt to the scene, hand over his gun to the superior officer and be escorted back to the precinct with a crime tech to gather all evidence from his uniform, etc.. and immediately have him complete the incident report. He said if the officer wants their police rep during this time or need to go to the hospital – the escorting officer and crime tech simply remain in tow. In 30 years, he had never heard of not completing the report within a 24 hour period.

Thanks, Carla. I also believe that would be standard protocol and done so in order to protect the officer who discharged his weapon from having to explain discrepancies in timing, if and when he should have to go to court and be questioned on the matter. There are too many outstanding questions in this case. It really burns me when I see the headlines that say, “Officer cleared” when in reality, there are few people who consider him so.

I remember hearing about Wilson’s alleged injuries that were supposed to be severe and how his eyesocket had been “shattered”. Looking at the size of these two guys, I find it difficult to believe that either one of them could have managed to reach around the other and try to grab a gun that was on the opposite side from which he was standing. They were both big men, and Wilson’s gun would have been secured in his holster, it’s not easily taken from him. It’s infuriating when the general public has legitimate questions and no way of obtaining necessary answers.

Stand here and do nothing or go and work. I guess he decided to stand around a little longer and not do his job. He was not giving CPR, this guy is about as useful as a bull with an udder.

“It was then that Wilson made the judgment call to remain with the sickly child as well as the child’s mother until an ambulance arrived.”

Really. A “judgment call.” So the implication here is, he could have decided to abandon the sick baby in favor of trying to find a suspect who may have stolen some cigars. But he used his “judgment” and stayed with the baby. And this is noteworthy how? Isn’t this the expected behavior of a public servant?

    Who wrote this, his publicist?

I’m surprised that while they were demonizing Michael Brown, they weren’t using this to turn Darren Wilson into a saint.

Guess they forgot to add that nugget.

The more I hear about him, the creepier he gets. His last job was at a police dept. that was disbanded due to being racist.

          That’s what I’ve heard also.
