Trump hammers ‘leaks’ message in Twitter tirade
Donald Trump is using Twitter as the main weapon in his arsenal to undermine serious journalism and communicate “directly” with his low-info supporters:
Leaking, and even illegal classified leaking, has been a big problem in Washington for years. Failing @nytimes (and others) must apologize!

No, Donald. The spotlight is on you, and the questions about your ties to Russia and Putin are not going away.
The NY Daily News reports:
[Trump tweeted that t]he leaker committed a “serious felony,” but the breach involved a public need to show that Flynn had lied about whether he had discussed sanctions in the phone call, the Intercept’s Glenn Greenwald reports.
“This episode underscores a critical point: The mere fact that an act is illegal does not mean it is unjust or even deserving of punishment,” Greenwald wrote. “Oftentimes, the most just acts are precisely the ones that the law prohibits.”
Amid Trump’s tweetstorm, Republican operative Roger Stone denied that he had any communication with Russia during his time with Trump’s campaign.

my contempt for the republican party is growing and growing…I have come to understand that the Hatred I held for these people, does little good…especially for me…it is poison, it poisons the thinking process….BUT, CONTEMPT and Derision is another story…this is the fuel that we need to feed the fires of the resistance…we need to pursue this russian connection to its conclusion, for the sake of the integrity of our Democracy…

The leak more than likely came from the Pence camp … look there.
After Flynn lied to and embarrassed the VP Trump still planned on keeping him, Pence wasn’t having it …

Trump is putting together a unit to plug these leaks, most of Nixon’s ‘plumbers unit’ that tried plugging leaks ended up in jail
