Too many gaps stoke concerns Trump not ready

Too many personnel gaps have security experts worried.

Sources close to the transition describe Trump’s national security staffing as a “black box,” leaving everyone from Obama administration officials to Trump job seekers and foreign diplomats guessing at who will land crucial positions shaping policy and managing crises.

Much of the speculation focuses on the NSC, which plays the vital role of coordinating foreign policy and national security within the White House. NSC aides refine and advise the president on competing policy options generated throughout the federal government.

But the Trump team has also not yet announced any appointments below the Cabinet level for the departments of State or Defense, leaving many more important posts open days before Trump’s inauguration.

“This isn’t getting attention it deserves. Who will run and implement policy? Right now there is a big vacuum,” Max Boot, a military historian and fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, tweeted Tuesday.

Remember during the campaign- all those voters interviewed on TV all starry eyed about voting for Trump because he is a businessman and knows how to get things done? And the comments about running government like a business? Well here we are- 48 hours away from the changeover and it’s a great big fat mess.

    God help us all.

The deplorables will not care. We had better not lose track of the fact that no matter what Trump does, his worshipers have decided he is always right and everyone else is wrong.

They won the EC. Gloating about that takes priority over running the country. It is going to be a grim 4 years.

Trump is the right wings wet dream. He’s what they always wanted, somebody to come in and run everything just like a business. And run it into the ground. They wanted a con-man and a liar, someone who will dismantle and destroy every gain and every advancement made in the last 150 years.
His picks of people who are ideologically opposed to the very cabinet bureaucracies they will lead is all the evidence anyone needs to see what is about to happen.

The left should have fought much much harder to defeat these ignorant traitors than we did.

Citizens United, the long arm of ALEC, gerrymandering, and the failed media, not to mention KGB tactics had the winning hand, no matter what the left, or even just sane people, could do.

And the republican party leaders can claim they never backed him when he fails. They will be led by a tool and allow him to do as he pleases until he is impeached then they will hang him out to dry and grovel at pence’s feet.

Right-wingers hate the government and they elected the perfect guy to destroy the government. They can expect thank you cards from Putin any day now.
