Mattis: Stick with Iran deal

James Mattis also broke with Trump on Russia during his hearings.

…Mattis said Thursday in his confirmation hearing to be defense secretary that he supports a permanent U.S. military presence in the Baltics to deter Russia — and reiterated that he believes the U.S. must stick to the Iran nuclear deal even if it is flawed.

The retired Marine Corps general initially tried to dodge the question on Eastern Europe, saying he’d wait until Trump’s national security team was in place. But when panel Chairman John McCain pressed, Mattis said he agreed: “I do, sir.”

Mattis separately described Moscow as “raising grave concerns on several fronts.”

WTF, has none of the rump voters or cabinet posts been notified with the ideas he ran on? They will go along with whatever he decides, no matter how many 180’s he does.

Did Congress grant him an exemption? Isn’t this done before all the time and money is wasted on a vetting and a hearing?

What Trump thinks is rock solid loyalty just might be flawed

Stick with the Iran deal. Is that today only or is that tomorrow too?
