We know exactly where they stand.

1. Protect people with pre-existing conditions

Republicans blocked an amendment that would have made it harder to take away coverage from Americans with preexisting medical conditions. 52 million people — about 1 in 4 non-elderly Americans — have preexisting conditions…

2. Let young adults stay on their parents’ plan

Republicans blocked an amendment by Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin that would have made it easier young people to stay on their parents’ health care plan until they are 26 …

3. Maintain access to contraceptive coverage…

4. Ensure Medicaid expansion stays in place

Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act benefited 11 million low-income Americans in 2015 alone and has created thousands of jobs for direct care workers…

5. Protect children on Medicaid or CHIP

Republicans blocked an amendment offered by Senator Brown (D-OH) that would make it harder to ensure children could keep their health coverage on Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)…

6. Protect veterans’ health care

Republicans blocked an amendment by Sen. Tester (D-MT) that would have made it harder to restrict veterans’ ability to access VA health care.

If the repubs had any balls they would put up and pass “THEIR” Healthcare bill and leave Obamacare alone.

Let their plan become an option to Obamacare.

And after a year or so whichever plan is most successful stays.

Let the people decide with their pocketbook.

    • Buford2k11 January 12th, 2017 at 13:21

hehehe, That’d be way too much Free Market Capitalism for them to handle…their problem remains, that the PPACA is and will remain a republican idea in the first place…they cannot, figure out how to make more profits than before, without making the gop look like they are the greedy bastards they already are…

  2. William January 12th, 2017 at 12:59

I think the actual replacement will get kicked down the road and will just fizzle out. The motivation behind this action isn’t about health care, it’s about hatred for President Obama. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/1cc1ed70451fc0529b0014491969319c27fd91790a6be46de59c8d0584d0ae64.jpg

He can’t bring back coal mining jobs, but he is taking away their health care.

        • whatthe46 January 12th, 2017 at 15:38

YES! and those very same ones are crying. remember about how they voted for him and now hope they don’t lose their healthcare after he said he would get rid of it? these very same idiots are saying i was hoping he wasn’t serious. YOU CHEERED every time he said he would. WTF?

        • ohpaleasegivemeabreak January 12th, 2017 at 21:08

He will tell them every day that he is going to bring them back.

he’s a liar. He will just keep lying.

        • Lyndia January 13th, 2017 at 18:17

However, the former coal miners, think their jobs ARE coming back. They don’t understand, they have been hood winked, but they will soon find out.

    • whatthe46 January 12th, 2017 at 13:29

  3. Red Eye Robot January 12th, 2017 at 13:04

So, Kind of like how Obamacare was passed?

    • Buford2k11 January 12th, 2017 at 13:17

nope…Obamacare was passed out of concern and kindness for their fellow man…quite unlike what they are doing now…all they are doing is hurting fellow Americans for their own selfish needs….Lies, are not going to cut it….

    • whatthe46 January 12th, 2017 at 13:27

it took years to get through you jackass and this was done in the middle of the night. you lie so damn much.

    • Red Mann January 13th, 2017 at 02:01

Do you practice to be this stupid?

      • Budda January 13th, 2017 at 06:53

        • Lyndia January 13th, 2017 at 18:12

Yes, it is innate. It is in their DNA and they just can’t help it.

    • Mensa Member January 12th, 2017 at 22:44

If you have a pre-existing condition, the GOP are an existential threat to you.

    • Bunya January 13th, 2017 at 14:06

Well, the only thing I can say to these tRump voters who are about to lose their ACA, “tough t*ts, toots! You reap what you sow!”

  5. Dwendt44 January 12th, 2017 at 14:29

The real plan: They/everybody knows that ‘repeal and replace’ would take two (at least) bills to accomplish. The plan is to ‘repeal’, that bill will likely pass. Then the bill to replace will be voted down and the end goal of killing the ACA will be complete.

  6. amersham1046 January 12th, 2017 at 16:35

There will be much happening be hind closed doors,

  7. Charlie Seivard January 12th, 2017 at 17:31

  8. StoneyCurtisll January 12th, 2017 at 18:42

In dead of night Republicans vote to take away 6 health care benefits…

And guess what, they are gonna blame Obama when people find out what happened to their health insurance..
“He was still the president” they will shout.
Or they will just say “My Obamacare isn’t any good, look what happened when I tried to use it”..
    Republican lawmakers are rotten bastards.

    • granpa.usthai January 12th, 2017 at 23:52

that’s only if POTUS Obama signs off before he leaves, in which case, it will be up to the republican ‘golden’ (there’s a reason I’ve adopted that nomenclature) boy who no doubt as a republican has already placed active duty military personnel at the very bottom of the republican GREED REWARDS LIST.

      • StoneyCurtisll January 13th, 2017 at 12:52

Now I need a shower, (without the golden)..:)

  9. The Original Just Me January 12th, 2017 at 19:34

Of Coarse Republicans have to vote at night. They would wither up and Die if they were exposed to Sunlight.

    • granpa.usthai January 12th, 2017 at 23:48

Good point. being that the media is in the pockets of the republicans, maybe thr people need to start a 3rd shift watchdog task force?

      • The Original Just Me January 13th, 2017 at 22:32

They will need a secret place meet and No computers that can be Hacked.

    • Lyndia January 13th, 2017 at 18:07

      That was funny.

      • The Original Just Me January 13th, 2017 at 22:34

Just be sure to carry a crucifix with you everywhere you go. LOL :+)

  10. Warman1138 January 12th, 2017 at 20:00

Republicans, they don’t care about us, they never have. Since at least, the time of FDR whom they fought tooth and nail over S.S., they also argued and fought against entering the war then and only acquiesced after pearl harbor. We’re just fodder to them, nothing else.

    • ohpaleasegivemeabreak January 12th, 2017 at 21:02

Hmmmmmmmm your history is a little off.

      • Warman1138 January 12th, 2017 at 22:33

BULL, get a life and a brain and some memory.

      • Mensa Member January 12th, 2017 at 22:43

Can you name ways that Republicans have made life better for working people like me?

        • Budda January 13th, 2017 at 06:50

          Great question.

I also see there has been no reply.

      • granpa.usthai January 12th, 2017 at 23:45

not really. History that is LIVED by the American people is often different from media accounts…. POTUS Reagan’s Administration for an example.

      • Lyndia January 13th, 2017 at 18:05

How? Sounds right to me. Kennedy Sr. was an ambassador, and he was against going to war. Joe Kennedy Jr. felt the same way. At least, that is what I read in, Rosemary Kennedy , a book about her life. (The hidden Kennedy girl.)

    • granpa.usthai January 12th, 2017 at 23:43

      always have been.

NO TROOPS SHOULD BE DEPLOYED ANYWHERE WITHOUT AN ACTUAL DECLARATION OF WAR !

  11. Mensa Member January 12th, 2017 at 22:20

Remember how conservatives whined and carped about Obamacare supposedly being “shoved down their throats” or “rammed through.”?

When, in fact, Obamacare was passed after literally MONTHS of debate? When, in fact, Obamacare incorporated many conservative ideas?

But, what do conservatives do? They ram their repeal down our throats!

    • granpa.usthai January 12th, 2017 at 23:41

they love the middle of the night BS, as if it’s not going to count in the morning.

  12. granpa.usthai January 12th, 2017 at 23:40

oh, I hope so much that active military personnel who are currently at the bottom of the republican GREED REWARDS LIST take note of who (which political party) has voted on what.

    WAKE UP!

the ONLY way you’ll receive appropriate pay for your upcoming duties of placing your lives on the line for their offshore bank accounts is to stand up!

  13. fahvel January 13th, 2017 at 00:59

sad, so very sad. no ethics, integrity or morality.

  14. Red Mann January 13th, 2017 at 01:56

I wonder how many of the losers that voted for these abominations just got screwed?

  15. bpollen January 13th, 2017 at 03:38

Sounds like we finally found those death panels… turns out it was the GOP.

    • maggiemoo January 13th, 2017 at 09:45

  16. Gina Bousquet January 13th, 2017 at 07:47

        • The Original Just Me January 13th, 2017 at 22:29

But it is too late now. :+)

                  • Gina Bousquet January 14th, 2017 at 12:54

Hi O! It’s afternoon. Nice Summer weather, with big thunderstorms every late afternoons. Keep warm and cozy! :)

  17. oldfart January 13th, 2017 at 10:21

“If you get sick, hurry up and die.”

Bringing back the good old days… /s

  18. Nathan Pinnhead January 13th, 2017 at 11:54

Why am I now seeing death panels? Sarah Palin was speaking of a future USA, a future that begins in 2017. The new health care is you get sick and die. If we allow all those 62 and older to just die, think of how much money we can pass on to the billionaires.

    • Mensa Member January 13th, 2017 at 12:01

I had a very expensive illness. My insurance company held a meeting of anonymous people to decide if they would pay for my medication. It was a terrifying time, waiting to see if I lived or died.

The GOP wants that system back.

  19. Ned Nutley January 13th, 2017 at 16:36

Republicans / Conservatives = the ones who
openly celebrate the misfortunes of others
and people around the world laugh at how
many here vote for and re-elect them!

  20. The Original Just Me January 13th, 2017 at 19:01

Of coarse they voted at night. If they came out in the Sun Light, They would wither up and DIE !!!
