Marijuana now legal in Massachusetts

You can possess, grow and use marijuana if you’re 21 or older.

But public consumption of the drug remains forbidden in Massachusetts, as do several related activities, such as smoking weed anywhere tobacco smoking is prohibited. It will also be illegal to drive under the influence of marijuana, though there is no cannabis equivalent in the law to the 0.08 blood-alcohol limit.

Selling pot, too, remains outlawed until the state treasurer sets up a regulated marketplace and licenses retail stores. The law sets a January 2018 time frame for pot shops to open, creating a legal gray zone until then — buying up to an ounce of pot from a dealer is legal, but the dealer is breaking the law.

smoke ’em while you got ’em…because when the party of Social Persecution comes to power all bets are off…Mark my words….we are going to start to see, forced participation in these religious cults…If you want to get a drivers license, you must prove your loyalty, and your participation in these Cults…if you want to open a bank account…if you have any money left over from the mandatory Gift to the First Church of the Trump States of Murika, they will need to see your “Mark” to prove you are faithful to the cause…It is all gloom and doom for the Bastard Trump era…

Woo hoo, unfortunately it will take a couple years before stores open but I am glad we have taken the steps where we can be rational about a damn plant.

So buying from an illegal dealer is legal except the dealer is still illegal, and it’s now legal yet still nowhere to legally purchase.Makes one want to pull ones hair out in disbelief. Can these policy makers not see how stupid they look with this foolishness.Just legalize at the federal level, and stop all the unecessarymismatch of laws.Ingesting a Gd plant should not be a crime. How many lives have been turned upside down, how many children been forcibly taken from their parents, and for what?Ingesting a plant? The crime in this issue is the laws that should not be laws.

The damn war against a flower began due to racist motivations, and one of the architects of that stupidity,John Erlichman, admitted years later to that injustice.Millions still denied a medicinal plant that could help their conditions, and tens of thousands still arrested and locked into filthy cages for committing a crime which should not be,and isn’t a crime.A crime is that which harms the person or propertyof another.Period!! How can a country that claims to be the most free country in the world, still in the 21st.century,lock humans in cages for smoking a flower? This madness needs to stop.Let the states, the people, decide, and remove it from this bogus antiquated schedule one nonsense.
