46 more electors demand intelligence briefing on Trump-Putin ties

This is in addition to 10 electors already on board.

Originally 10 electors had signed on to the letter, which was first published on Monday, and addressed to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. Since then, the number of signatures has grown from 10 to 56. The 538 electors are scheduled to meet at the Electoral College on December 19, 2016.

The effort, spearheaded by elector Christine Pelosi (the daughter of Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi) asks for further information to determine whether “Mr. Trump is fit to serve as President of the United States.”

“The Electors require to know from the intelligence community whether there are ongoing investigations into ties between Donald Trump, his campaign or associates, and Russian government interference in the election, the scope of those investigations, how far those investigations may have reached, and who was involved in those investigations,” the letter, which was posted online, states. Of the fifty six who have signed the letter, only one is a Republican.

In my dream world many have already determined not to vote for this fraud. They don’t need to see more evidence.

that’s our common sense world right though? seriously, what on earth do they need to know. it’s also going around that putin has something on him and others involved. i want heads to roll.

This is not looking too good for Trump…oh he may still be president but he is certainly not a legitimate one…he would be the Bastard President Trump…

I wonder how long it will take before he gets tired of it all and resigns, leaving us with president pence.

well, some states are asking that the EC be pushed further out until they get all the information they need. the more that comes out about others involvement, i’m hoping someone sings and he turns it down. i don’t want im sworn in. besides pence isn’t going in with clean hands. how much does he know. it’s clear to those of us with common sense that many are involved, but what we believe and the evidence they are able to collect is another story.

Every elector should want to see the report regardless of political bent.

Exactly, the republicans are saying that only the democratic affiliated electors have a problem with the Putin ties due to EC loss. Any republican who sides with rump right now are showing their willingness to accept a foreign entity having a say in our voting process. The republicans have already proven they don’t want people to vote, I believe that would make them unpatriotic.

This is just the tip of the iceberg….we are about to learn how foolish it was to elect a billionaire as president.
I predict that within weeks, if not days of the inauguration, our enemies will start attacking Trump’s properties around the globe. How we respond will be telling….
Will we use our military to protect the president’s personal holdings…??? What about the holdings of all the billionaires in his cabinet …??? Will we ask American boys and girls to die protecting the chattels of our elitist class…???

The corporatocracy is here, and it is about to be sold as a patriotic duty.

I pledge allegiance to the dollar, and to the favors it can buy …

That would be great, except republicans want to see only what they want to see, regardless of whether or not it’s legal. They won the election, and that’s all that matters. Too bad Trump’s policies will hurt his constituents the most.

I can’t believe we’re just dancing around this.
If this was back in the 1950’s (where the wingwads seem to want to be) Trump and his Trumpkinaryans would have been rounded up and detained.
