Trump: Blacks who stayed home ‘almost as good’ as those who voted for him

Posted by | December 10, 2016 10:31 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Trump bragged at his Friday night victory rally about how “big league” he did with blacks.

…Trump claimed Friday night that African Americans came through for him “big league” in the November election and said those who stayed home were “almost as good” as those who voted for him…

“The African American community was great to us,” Trump told his crowd Friday night. “They came through, big league. Big league. And frankly if they had any doubt, they didn’t vote, and that was almost as good because a lot of people didn’t show up, because they felt good about me.”

As he said during the campaign, “what the hell do you have to lose?” They’re about to find out, both the ones who voted for him and the ones who didn’t vote at all.

A lot of us already know what we have to lose, a country.

Applauding citizens who didn’t vote, some as a result of highly restrictive voter ID laws, reduced access to voting locations, and/or local intimidation.

    How patriotic of Donnie, eh?

What a pompous, egotistical, useless POS.

“If you don’t vote, that’s a vote for Trump,” Obama said during an interview on “The Steve Harvey Morning Show” broadcast Wednesday. “If you vote for a third-party candidate who’s got no chance to win, that’s a vote for Trump. So the notion somehow that, ‘Well, you know, I’m not as inspired because Barack and Michelle, they’re not on the ballot this time, and, you know, maybe we kinda take it easy’ — my legacy’s on the ballot. You know, all the work we’ve done over the last eight years is on the ballot.”

“President Obama did something extraordinary, perhaps unprecedented, in his post-election news conference Wednesday: He claimed a mandate on behalf of voters who didn’t vote,” Byron York reports.

Said Obama: “To everyone who voted, I want you to know that I hear you. To the two-thirds of voters who chose not to participate in the process yesterday, I hear you, too.”

Byron York is blowing something out of his ass… maybe it’s smoke.

      “I hear you” ≠ “mandate”

And, if you notice, “I hear you” was used in reference to BOTH those who voted, and those who didn’t. So to say that JUST ONE is the only one that counts, and ONLY THAT ONE should be considered in making shite up is, charitably, a deliberate case of cherrypicking.

An example: “GOOD PEOPLE DON’T GO INTO GOVERNMENT.” NMP said that. Of course, it’s not ALL of what he said, nor was it the actual POINT of the statement, but if I just take ONE PART of the statement, I can make it do all sorts of tricks. “BRING ISIS TO THE TABLE.” So, if we take THAT out of context, it sounds like he doesn’t want to defeat ISIS, but wants to appease ISIS. Or this one: “I SCREWED HIM. THAT’S WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING.” Wow, Trump humped Qaddafi! And he wants US to take sloppy seconds! Or this: “I HAVE BLACKS. I’VE ALWAYS HAD BLACKS.” Gee, he just claimed to OWN humans!

Do you have a point, or are you wearing a hat?

Because your last post was full of cherrypicked pieces leading to BS conclusions. This one, on the other hand, has NO obvious point. Just two quotes.

“…laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is; I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.”

          “They’re rapists.”

          “Not a war hero.”

““His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald’s being — you know, shot. ”

About Iowa voters: “Too much #Monsanto in the #corn creates issues in the brain? ”

“You know, it really doesn’t matter what they write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass. But she’s got to be young and beautiful.”

“I fully understand why her husband left her for a man – he made a good decision.”

About a woman NYT columnist: “The Face Of A Dog.”

To a contestant on his crappy reality TV show: “It must be a pretty picture,” he said to her. “You dropping to your knees.”

“Bette Midler is an extremely unattractive woman.”

On RBG: “incompetent judge” and “Her mind is shot.”

On women other than his wife: “Grab them by the pussy.”

About Miss Universe: “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping”

On why an AMERICAN judge is unfair: “He’s a Mexican.”

“Black guys counting my money! I hate it”

“The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.”

About innocent young men: ““I want to hate these murderers and I always will.”

About his followers attacking and urinating on a Hispanic: “I will say that people who are following me are very passionate”

About Jews: “I’m a negotiator, like you folks”

          “look at my African-American.”

Nasty bastard – mocking the black voters disenfranchised by Republican gerrymandering. Just how low can this creep go?

  6. Tommie December 10th, 2016 at 17:11

Hard to vote when overcharged on petty crimes, in some states we can’t vote!

    • whatthe46 December 11th, 2016 at 00:51

nevermind gerrymandering and the closing of nearly 850 polling places in the black communities or the voter ID laws. some weren’t able to get an ID because they closed the DMV down. so there’s a big part of your answer.
