Ignores intel briefings in favor of calls with world leaders
Donald Trump is substituting U.S. intelligence briefings with phone calls to “a number of source.”
Click here for reuse options!Last week, the Washington Post reported that President-elect Donald Trump had only received two classified intelligence briefings since election day — a number they said was “notably lower” than the amount received by his predecessors at this point in the transition period.
In an interview on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday, host Dana Bash asked Trump spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway about the allegation.
Conway did not deny the Post’s report, but instead stressed that in addition to the (limited) intelligence briefings he has received, the President-elect is “receiving information through his personal and on-the-phone meetings with over what’s now 41 world leaders.”
…Presidents-elect usually use the intelligence briefings during the transition to immerse themselves in the national security issues facing the country and to become familiar with leaders around the globe. Notably, Trump is the first person elected to the U.S. presidency with zero government or military experience.

#Derp45 is unqualified for the job and doesn’t want to do the work. All he really wants is the glory of ‘Making America Great Again’, which he is going to totally fail at. The sooner he is gone the better.

Donnie won’t bypass an opportunity to hear world leaders sing his praises while basking in the glory of his election victory.
On the other hand, intelligence briefings require a disciplined mind and a willingness to stay focused while listening to people talk about something other than Donald.

I sometimes get the feeling that I am on a collision course………..with “Destiny”…or a train wreck…no kidding…this is the first coal train since the de-railment the other day…it seems tho, foreign policy is going to be what Putin wants it to be…Congress has been neutered, by their own stupidity, lack of ethics, and moral bankruptcy…we will see if they allow Trump to outsource the Presidency to Pence…and then consider how much our Allies will “complain”…

umm…Putin is our enemy…he wants it to be that way…I am afraid of Putin…and I am afraid of Putin’s influence on Trump…Blathering about the danger of a Putin/Trump presidency needs to be constantly blathered until we are nuked, or put in jail…
