Want to have a great laugh? Check huffpost articles on Trump’s handshake. I couldn’t stop laughing, weirdest thing ever!

    • eyelashviper February 11th, 2017 at 12:19

The Japanese leader looked actually frightened…I am surprised that they agreed to go with tRump to Florida, with tRump prowling around the house late at night.

      • Gina Bousquet February 11th, 2017 at 12:59

Hi eyelash! Did you watch the several handshakes in the other article? Besides not leting go the hand he pulls the person to him with a tug. It is the craziest handshake. :)

        • eyelashviper February 11th, 2017 at 15:05

Veeery creeeeepy. I hope the Japanese Minister has a bodyguard.

Nationwide arrests of undocumented immigrants raise fear of a deportation force in action.

    • Willys41 February 12th, 2017 at 02:53

      So that’s roughly 11,000,000 – 160 = 10,999,840 to go.

(And at 160 arrests per week it’ll only take 132 years to finish the job!)

      • Gina Bousquet February 12th, 2017 at 08:46

But it’s very effective to spread insecurity and fear among them.

WAPO is calling protesters “the liberal tea party”. I find it pretty offensive! Politically comparing liberals to the extreme right? Smearing the resistance to a dangerous fascist administration?

    • Foundryman February 12th, 2017 at 12:34

In it’s first week, the resistance is already ten times the size the Tparty ever was. Pro trump right wing media will try to demean it as much as possible until they can’t ignore the obvious anymore.
Most haven’t even hit the streets yet.

      • Gina Bousquet February 12th, 2017 at 12:46

I didn’t expect this from Washington Post– such simplistic comparison– it seems I have the wrong image of them.

        • Hirightnow February 12th, 2017 at 19:15

Gina, do you perhaps have a relative in Florida with the same last name you have on your e-mail account, named Paulo Roberto De(etc.)?
I work with him, is why I ask.

          • Gina Bousquet February 12th, 2017 at 19:47

I don’t have relatives in the US, but the last name in my email is as common in Portugal and Brazil as Smith in your country. :)

            • Hirightnow February 12th, 2017 at 19:59

OK. Paulo is a naturalized U.S. citizen from Brazil (and speaks Portugese, which confuses me more than Spanish!), and he’s been a good friend for a dozen years. I just happened to notice your email address while running through the moderation panel…hope I didn’t step on your privacy toes.
              Thanks for the answer.

              • Gina Bousquet February 12th, 2017 at 20:06

I like this kind of chat, family names, ascendancy. :) Portuguese is considered the most difficult of Latin languages

                • Hirightnow February 12th, 2017 at 21:23

Huh. Thought that would have been English, with all of the borrowed words and weird regional syntax.
But Portuguese DOES make Spanish look kinda easy.
(One thing I’ve noticed;Paulo tends to add an “eh'” sound before some words, mostly nouns…like “The car’s ehstarter is not working; we going to the junk yard to find another ehstarter”…)
It’s allright, though; I can understand him fully after all this time.

                  • Gina Bousquet February 12th, 2017 at 21:40

That eh is a Portuguese language vice ( that’s how it’s called), like people that say you know with every few words in English. :)

      • Gina Bousquet February 13th, 2017 at 09:29

Sanders is p*ssed with the analogy. He pointed out the tea party was funded by the Koch brothers while the uprising is driven by passion.

Stephen Miller told US media the court ruling was a “judicial usurpation of power” and that “the president’s powers here are beyond question”.–

And his vords vill not be questioned becuse he operates under the direct authority of der fuher.
