During White House meeting Trump calls Obama ‘a very good man’

It’s unclear which Donald Trump will show up January 20, given his words and tone the last couple of days.

Following a meeting that went roughly an hour and a half, Trump and Obama addressed reporters to describe their discussion. Obama noted that it was an “excellent conversation” and and that his goal was to facilitate a peaceful transition of power.

He also noted that his wife, Michelle Obama, had met with Melania Trump to brief her and that their conversation was “excellent” as well…

“Mr President, it was a great honor being with you,” Trump said. “And I look forward to being with you many more times in the future.”

After they wee done giving their remarks, Obama stated that they wouldn’t be taking any questions. He then leaned over to Trump and said, “It’s a good rule — don’t answer questions when they start.”

As Obama was shooing the reporters out, Trump said the following, “Very good man — very good man.”

After everything he said about the president during the campaign, we’re supposed to take this seriously? Tell me another funny one, Donald.

Grasping at straws here. But maybe it was his base he was bullshittin’ all along and 4 years from now, they will be the ones who want him thrown out.

Yes, I know. borderline science fiction. A guy can always hope…

I remember the gubernatorial recall election here in California when Gray Davis was recalled and replaced with the Governator Arnold.

When it was all said and done, from a policy perspective, Schwarzeneger was not all that different from the centrist Democrat Gov. Davis.

Republicans spent Arnold’s second term crying in their beer as we Democrats realized he was not that bad, and reelected him over perhaps the worst Democratic candidate ever, Phil Angelides who barely carried Nancy Pelosi’s home district in San Francisco.

We shall see how much of the campaign was just an act by someone who made his fortune in sales, e.g. telling people exactly what they want to hear, regardless of ability to deliver on those promises.

If there is no Hillary special prosecutor and there is no wall, regardless of who pays for it, I think your prediction will be spot on..

Well he is removing some of the promises he made the deplorable’s, I wonder how many he can remove before they start taking notice. I don’t have much faith in this group, they have already excused so much from their candidate.
