Trump son for Interior Secretary?

Posted by | November 9, 2016 13:45 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics

Get ready for some highly unusual moves.

Some names being tossed about: Continental Resources CEO Harold Hamm for Energy secretary; Trump’s finance chairman Steven Mnuchin as Treasury secretary; billionaire investor Wilbur Ross as Commerce secretary; and Forrest Lucas of Lucas Oil, venture capitalist Robert Grady, and Trump’s own son, Donald Trump Jr., for Interior secretary.

Don’t think Trump will forget his allies throughout the election. Rudy Giuliani, Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich, Rick Scott, Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, Rick Perry, and military advisor Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn are also being considered for positions: Giuliani and Christie for attorney general; Gingrich, Scott, and Carson for Health and Human Services secretary; Perry, Huckabee, and Christie for Commerce secretary; and Gingrich also for secretary of State.

The damage a Trump administration will do to the environment and the Supreme Court, is too hideous to think about. I’m glad I don’t have any kids that will have to put up with the residue of him in the White House.

The Trump family making government policy is more dangerous than handing a loaded assault weapon to a five year old.

And it is only going to get worse.

The Senate has go approve of those appointments…could get interesting.

    • Larry Schmitt November 9th, 2016 at 15:50

And the repubs control the Senate, plus the tiebreaker.

It was bad last night this story just made it worse

And every appointment he makes will just be piling on. Imagine Giuliani as AG, or Gingrich as Sec State. Who knows what other surprises he has in store?

Possibly even worse than him actually being president, is that we will have to hear this asshole for another four years. I would rather have the post vacant for an entire term than have to listen to him.

I literally spit coffee out my nose when i read this. But what the hell… give it to him. Looks like we are totally screwed. Do people really think it would be a BAD thing if he sold off The Grand Canyon to be used as a ginormous motocross track?

Worked for three of ’em. All political hacks. Could he be any worse?
