As if Wednesday morning, Hillary Clinton has 135,704 more votes than Donald Trump.

…Clinton finds herself on the wrong end of an electoral split, moving ahead in the popular vote but losing to President-elect Donald Trump in the Electoral College, according to the latest numbers emerging Wednesday.

As of 8:10 a.m. ET, Clinton had amassed 59,163,675 votes nationally, to Trump’s 59,027,971 — a margin of 135,704 that puts Clinton on track to become the fifth U.S. presidential candidate to win the popular vote but lose the election.

Gore also got more popular votes than W in 2000.

Upon adding these two together = 118,191,646 total votes cast
Tells me once again, people either didn’t bother to vote or protested by not voting.
In either case, once republicans gets their hands on SCOTUS we will all be transported back in history and that alone will take generations to get back.

This is just like that other time in 2000, when after eight great Clinton42 years. The conservative majority supreme court voted to seat the dumbest candidate GWB43.

Those that didn’t vote, or didn’t listen have delivered Trump45. ‘This is no time for a protest votes’-(I-VT)Sanders endorsed, campaigned and voted for (D) HRC.

I’m no political expert, but it seems to me that the antiquated electoral college system subverts the entire concept of our supposed one citizen-one vote democracy. Perhaps back in the days of travel-by-horseback and limited communication it was necessary, but just as in 2000, the election should be based on the actual popular votes cast. I doubt Dump would have been as gracious and professional as Clinton had the situation been reversed.

Now please excuse me while I resume throwing up.

The electoral college system gave is George W. Bush in 2000 and T rump just now.
BUT since the Republican Party has benefited from keeping that antiquated procedure, they will never allow it to be removed. A constitutional amendment is needed to eliminate it.
