Pepsi to reduce sugar in drinks

PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi said Monday that at least two-thirds of the New York-based company’s drinks will have 100 calories or less from added sugar per 12 oz serving by 2025.     I’d be happier if they would outlaw HFCS in drinks all together.
    And lest we forget,
    The sugar and corn sweetener industry is big business.

      Plus, it tastes better with cane sugar instead of corn syrup anyway. :)

      If you haven’t seen the documentary “King Corn” it’s definitely worth a watch. And it’s entertaining as well as informative.

    OK, so aside from the obvious comparisons to “New Coke,” and the 2-liter bottles being “phased out,” which are all about how to screw with a winning game plan, exactly how do you manufacture a drink with less than zero calories?

    Does it involve anti-matter?

    This seems vague to me. Are they switching to artificial sweeteners instead of HFCS or regular sugar? Sure you can reduce the calories but if it gives you cancer instead is that really a good change?
