Giuliani falsely claims Democrats commit election fraud because ‘they control the inner cities’

Code: Black.

In most years, what Rudy Giuliani said on today’s Sunday morning talk shows could be dismissed as the conspiracy theory with no greater consequence or relevance. But this isn’t most years.

“Dead people generally vote for Democrats instead of Republicans,” Giuliani said on CNN’s State of the Union with Jake Tapper, insinuating that American cities are hotbeds of widespread voter fraud. “If you want me to tell you that I think the elections of Philadelphia and Chicago are going to be fair, I would have to be a moron to say that.”

This is flatly wrong. Despite Giuliani’s dystopian fever dreams, election experts are clear that voter fraud is extraordinary rare, had no impact on the 2012 race, and isn’t expected to be a problem in 2016. As Tapper correctly pointed out, even the Republican Party of Philadelphia agreed that there was no voter fraud in the city.

As Trump, Giuliani and their propaganda machine stoke this debunked republican myth, it’s going to get real ugly after Hillary wins and the lunatic rightwing base starts to plot revenge.
    What they’re doing is seditious.

basically, what they’re doing is what they’ve done all their lives – whine, cry, bitch, moan and threaten until they get what they want.

time for these 70+ year old ba ba’s to GROW THE “F” UP !

trump is a terrible terrible excuse for a human being, plus he’s a tiny handed little money grubbing worm. NOT my idea of what a POTUS should be. HONEST HILLARY on the other hand, in comparison, is as pure and innocent as the first snowflake that landed on the North Pole 6,501 years ago.

Well, Rudy, you won’t get any argument here about you being a moron.

Glad to know that no White people will cheat for Trump since they want to stop Hillary anyway they can! How come the very people who call out others for doing bad are actually doing the most bad things? Like “Christians”!

    POINT OF FACT!

there hasn’t been an election, yet, HTF can there be voter fraud?

    • KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker October 16th, 2016 at 12:30

The rightwing lives in a delusional world of denial, selective memory and projection.
For instance; Giuliani was recently quoted saying that he “can’t recall any terrorism until Obama was elected”.
Now that’s true republican delusion….just like authentic frontier gibberish.

The prevailing conspiracy theory is that the Democrats are going to drive bus loads of black voters from polling place to polling place to vote multiple times… *sigh*

    • granpa.usthai October 16th, 2016 at 12:17

why the hell not just use the 50 billion hidden ballots in Antarctica and dump them on the polls on the 27th of November? – that ought to take some of the wind out of the slimy little tiny handed money grubbing worm’s smokestacks!?!

Jeb Bush wasn’t just the governor of Florida in 2000; he was a key orchestrator and strategist in the theft of the Florida election on behalf of his brother. It was Jeb who tee’d up the ball and let Antonin Scalia hit it into the stands on behalf of George W. Bush.

So the biggest voter fraud of the last 200 years was performed by a governor.

      A republican governor.

They should have asked him to produce the data that supports his story. I have being voting forever and don’t remember a single newspaper article that covered voters fraud at the polls.Voter fraud at the polls does not happen.

“Inner cities” is Republican for “black.”

Let’s remember that ol’ Rudy actually said this:

Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani attempted to clarify comments he made Wednesday that he did not believe the president “loves America,” telling the New York Times that his comments were misconstrued as racism.

“Some people thought it was racist — I thought that was a joke, since he was brought up by a white mother, a white grandfather, went to white schools, and most of this he learned from white people,” Giuliani said to the Times in an interview Thursday. “This isn’t racism. This is socialism or possibly anti-colonialism.”
