WTF? Nebraska Senator endorsed, unendorsed and now has reendorsed Trump
And we’re supposed to endorse a legislator with this degree of uncertainty?
Nebraska Sen. Deb Fischer was on Donald Trump’s team. Then she wasn’t. Now she is again.
Fischer, who on Saturday suggested Republican nominee Donald Trump should “step aside and allow Mike Pence” to become the GOP’s candidate, made it clear Tuesday that she is actually still supporting Trump.
“I plan to vote for Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence on November 8,” she told local Lincoln, Neb., radio station KLIN. “I put out a statement … with regard to Mr. Trump’s comments. I felt they were disgusting. I felt they were unacceptable and I never said I was not voting for our Republican ticket.”

I was there too, at Offutt, in the 80’s. Except for the weather I didn’t mind the area too much. The base I didn’t care for. Too many war games.

She is my Senator. My guess is after she rescinded her support her office got deluged with angry calls from crazed Tebaggers all over NE saying they won’t support her in 2018. So like the craven coward she has shown herself to be she fell in line. I didn’t vote for her but ever since she got elected I have been looking for something I could at least like about her. So far, nothing. She has a bitchy personality toward anyone not telling her she is wonderful. I still have a letter from her office regarding that letter to Iran she and other GOP Senators signed. It just dripped with sarcasm, She is actually a good fit for the state. Lots of nasty small minded people here. She is the best of that bunch.
