Don King defends using n-word: ‘They call you that when you turn your back, anyway’
Don King infamously used the n-word at a Trump rally, and he’s now defending it.
Click here for reuse options!King, an African-American, let the N-word slip when he argued why black people “cannot assimilate.”
The boxing promoter explained his use of the word as “the vernacular of the street.”
“It’s a slip,” King told CNN on Saturday. “But, nevertheless, they call you that when you turn your back anyway. So what’s all of this hoopla? They don’t understand I’m fighting for them!”
“I’m fighting for a better America,” he yelled passionately.

Don King always has and always will fight for what’s best for Don King. If it benefits anybody else, it’s either required by the contract, or just by happy accident.
