Clinton being treated for pneumonia

Posted by | September 11, 2016 18:05 | Filed under: Politics

It turns out Hillary Clinton has pneumonia.

Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies. On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia,” said Dr. Lisa R. Bardack, who examined Mrs. Clinton at her house in Chappaqua on Sunday. “She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule. While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely.”

Mrs. Clinton was taken from the morning event at ground zero to the Manhattan apartment of her daughter, Chelsea. About 90 minutes after arriving there, Mrs. Clinton emerged from the apartment in New York’s Flatiron district and waved to onlookers, posing for pictures with a little girl on the sidewalk.

“I’m feeling great,” Mrs. Clinton said. “It’s a beautiful day in New York.”

Age is a consideration. I had pneumonia when I was in my early 30s.

But with infants, very young children, and people over 60, it is serious. Think about how many times you have heard of the elderly dying from “complications” of pneumonia, for example.

      • whatthe46 September 12th, 2016 at 21:34

        too bad you pulled through.

        • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 21:35

Typical from the Left; the truth comes out, sooner or later: Resorting to violence or death wishes. That is the history of the Left.

They only die if their immune system is otherwise compromised by a disease or ailment, Hillary is very healthy so put your party horns away.

        • RightThinkingOne September 13th, 2016 at 19:04

The point is that when they are in that age group, their recovery is weaker and pneumonia is much more serious.

The debate with Donald J. Trump is about two weeks from the time Hillary was diagnosed. This is what WebMD says:
“In healthy people, pneumonia can be a mild illness that is hardly noticed and clears up in 2 to 3 weeks. In older adults and in people with other health problems, recovery may take 6 to 8 weeks or longer.”

Assume Hillary is healthy (and that is debatable); she is still in that category of “older adults.” Even with a young and healthy person, two weeks appears to be the quickest.

Donald J. Trump, when he is the president of the greatest nation in the history of the world, will nominate Supreme Court justices who adhere to Original Understanding of our Constitution.

In contrast, Hideous Hillary will appoint ones who will undermine our founding principles and the Constitution itself!

          • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 21:32

Trump ain’t going to win and even if he did he would be ineffectual because he wouldn’t have support from congress. We are not electing a dictator.

What kind of pneumonia? If it is aspiration pneumonia and Hillary is suffering from parkinson’s disease as some people are suggesting, I think the public has a right to know.

    • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 19:52

seriously? i mean really? “people say” is the same b.s. that tRump pulls when he knows damn well he’s lying.

      • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 19:56

Why is she hiding so much info about her health? Sorry but after her actions proving she likes to hide info about everything, I don’t trust her one bit.

        • eyelashviper September 11th, 2016 at 20:01

“…likes to hide info about everything.” After more than three decades of being prodded, attacked, scrutinized, and criticized, I could hardly blame her for wanting a bit of privacy. She has clearly provided all the information that is essential for a candidate for the Presidency, including medical and tax records.
          Yet Trump does not, hmmmmm.

          • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 20:04

I question tRumps health also, especially his mental health, since he shows signs of having dementia or alzheimer’s. I want the truth, nothing less. I am tired of all the decptions and lies.

            • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 20:07

the woman has pneumonia, she’s not fricken suffering from a mental disease that prohibits her from doing her job. you don’t trust her, fine, but don’t get all irrational behind it. you’re starting to sound like you should be wearing a tin foil hat mark, c’mon. what more than she’s being treated do you need to know. 90 mins in that kind of heat and then consider what she’s wearing, people have felt faint over less.

              • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 20:08

I don’t think of 79 degrees as particularly hot.

                • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 20:14

the heat on top of the humidity along with not drinking enough water can do that. her doctor says she resting re-hydrated and is doing fine. it’s straight from her doctor and that’s not even good enough for you.

                • eyelashviper September 11th, 2016 at 20:36

79 degrees, humid, in the sun, wearing a bullet proof vest, standing for 90 minutes, with a condition wherein she cannot sweat, with pnuemonia…gee, what a wuss she is.

                  • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 21:23

Then she was stupid to go. I question her judgement, especially hugging children when you are sick for a photo-op. Open your mind up and don’t be a sycophant, always question authority, even those you like in authority.

                    • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 21:26

                      an allergy is not contagious.

Pneumonia can be. It is a bacterial infection that can be airborne through one’s breath.

So I am the sycophant, because I disagree with your “assessment”, made with apparently little facts, as is evident from the Doc’s statements TODAY about Hillary’s currrent health issues…???
Also too, if you understood about the contagion parameters for pneumonia, particularly this type, you would perhaps be more cautious in your continued condemnation of Hillary.
As for the “open mind”, perhaps you need a mirror.

                    • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 21:29

What type is it, have they finally said what it is?

if it’s not going to kill her and it doesn’t affect her brain, why does it matter?

                    • eyelashviper September 11th, 2016 at 21:42

It is not hard to deduce that it is what is known as “walking pneumonia”, which is treated with antibiotics and is easily cured, and frequently people continue to function and do not necessarily need bed rest.
The Doctor’s report is pretty clear, and had Hillary been diagnosed with a more serious case, the doc would have ordered bed rest, isolation, or even hospitalization.
But please continue, we fully expect more, “yeah but, Hillary is evil, etc. etc.”

my friend has an allergy and being we’re in texass it’s so surprise. and she started having problems breathing so she went to the doctors, to find out she now has bronchitis, she’s getting treated for it. should she lose her job as a realtor because she chooses to keep her health care issues to herself when it clearly doesn’t affect any brain function. i mean considering you seem to think that feeling faint is some sort brain condition.

          • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 20:07

            • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 20:10

just put on fox lies, you’ll hear it was fatal before the report came out. that should satisfy you. lots of people get pneumonia mark and don’t die. and she has the best doctors so i’m pretty sure she’ll be fine.

            • RightThinkingOne September 11th, 2016 at 20:21

I had pneumonia once, but I was young. The most noticeable symptom I remember – and I am not saying this applies to everyone – is a tremendous loss of strength and energy.

With young, strong adults, it usually is not a problem, but with infants, very young children, and people over 60 – it is very serious.

        • RightThinkingOne September 11th, 2016 at 20:19

        • Scott S September 11th, 2016 at 20:41

Why are you so paranoid and dishonest? You don’t trust her one bit, but yet you’re here making up things about her based on your own dislike for her. Trump’s doctor didn’t even see him and wrote his note in 5 minutes. why are you not questioning that? I’ll tell you why.. because it’s not convenient. She obviously does not have Parkinson’s because people with that have quite a noticeable resting tremor (e.g. Michael J Fox).. you are not a physician nor has any physician examining her said that. No matter what she has, it does not make the lying, racist, completely inept Trump anymore attractive as a candidate.

          • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 21:30

I am not making anything up. I am asking questions you think are very inconvenient.

we all are aware that you don’t like her mark, but that’s not a reason to jump on the paranoia band wagon.

No matter what she does, you are gonna complain, yet you accuse others of not having “open minds”.

        • Budda September 11th, 2016 at 21:31

You assume she is hiding info about her health. How about we talk about Trumps health….mental and physical? About his “doctors ” letter of his health…written in a car..in 10 minutes?

            • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 21:35

you seem to be more angered by this than the other. you’re getting the information as it’s coming out and yet you still say you don’t trust her. people who don’t like her will never be satisfied. the exact same thing that is still going on with Obama. they don’t like him so they will continue to say he’s born in Kenya, doesn’t matter what he says or his birth certificate says.

              • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 21:43

I am more angered because I expect more from democrats. They are becoming like the republicans were a few short years ago, ignoring facts and not wanting to know answers that are inconvenient for them. All things the democrats used to criticize the republicans for. Yeah, I am angry that cognitive dissonance seems to be gripping the democratic party as a whole. It is very disappointing.

she has allergies and now she has pneumonia, she’s being treated with antibiotics and that’s what’s wrong. she’s not about to die. she doesn’t have a brain injury. she’s still working. and our support for her and defending her from others acting as though this is the end all to be all is what we’re doing. the woman can’t catch a cold w/o being called a liar or gravely ill for crying out loud. we are nowhere acting anything like the repukes. while they are all up in arms over this, tRumps “doctor” “wrote” a report in a car in 5 mins and that’s fine. she allowed enough details to be made public and again, you aren’t satisfied.

  7. eyelashviper September 11th, 2016 at 19:44

The absurd hysteria over her leaving the ceremony this morning is just indicative of the extreme partisan attitudes and sheer hatred for her. Had she stayed home, she would have been assailed as cold, unpatriotic, and uncaring, despite the fact that she was a real warrior to support those hurt by 9/11.
It is sickening, and makes me wonder how anyone would run for office anymore. The dreadful assaults, primarily from the far right, are horrid, and few families could survive such hostility and scrutiny.

    • mea_mark September 11th, 2016 at 19:48

She didn’t just leave, at one point she was unconscious. They had to carry her and put her in the van. At this point I think it is justified to question her health and her judgement.

      • eyelashviper September 11th, 2016 at 19:53

I saw the video. She was standing by the curb, and then appeared to begin to faint, which is not surprising, given the heat, 90 minutes on her feet in the sun, while wearing a heavy bullet proof vest. and her weakened condition from pnuemonia. And she does have a condition where she does not sweat, making it tough for her body to cool down.
Her doc has made statements about her health, even recently and in relation to her pnuemonia.
But by all means continue to question her “judgment” and search for anything with which to cudgel her.
And btw, I am no Hillary fan, but am pretty disgusted with all the basura tossed her way, for decades now.

        • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 19:54

If anything, with all this crapola that she has endured, and takes it, comes back fighting, and doing the work, is admirable.
Compare this to Trump’s wailing when anyone even gives him a funny look, is dramatic, to say the least.

        • whatthe46 September 11th, 2016 at 23:12

it’s funny. they keep repeating that she can’t be trusted, when on this very site, (not that he hasn’t done this before) there’s the article about tRump using his “foundation” to pay for a 20k 6′ painting of himself. that money is contributions from donors as his foundation is suppose to use the money for charity purposes. and this isn’t the first time he’s done this. but, they want more information about her allergies and her pneumonia as if for some strange reason they can determine what, whether or not she can still do her job. apparently she can, but, they want more. give me a break. talk about beating a dead horse.

      • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 21:33

Yes, you are right. Let’s see what happens on September 26. If she is still weak and Trump is forceful and strong, the Left-wingers will call Trump “mean” and “cruel.”

“Another example of (your dishonesty and Trump lies)” vs reality: “Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies,” Dr Lisa R Bardack said in a statement. “On Friday, during follow up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule.

“While at this morning’s event, she became overheated and dehydrated. I have just examined her and she is now re-hydrated and recovering nicely.” https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/sep/11/hillary-clinton-leaves-911-ceremony-after-feeling-overheated

      • RightThinkingOne September 11th, 2016 at 21:28

Yes. Clinton did not disclose her pneumonia; she let it go as “allergies,” and let the public think that was it. It is the kind of lying for which she is famous.

        • Obewon September 11th, 2016 at 21:30

NP. Lifelong Repub Colin Powell Confirms (R) Trump’s Basketcase of Deplorables!

62% of Likely Voters agree, and (R) Colin Powell confirms, Basket of Deplorables: Secretary of State Colin Powell’s private email account revealed the retired four-star general called Republican U.S. presidential nominee Donald Trump “a national disgrace and an international pariah.” http://www.pollingreport.com/wh16.htm

In one of the emails, Powell calls Trump’s birther investigation a “racist” movement which incorrectly states that President Barack Obama was born in a foreign country. “Yup, the whole birther movement was racist,” Powell wrote. Commenting on Trump wanting to know if Obama was Muslim, Powell wrote, “As I have said before, ‘What if he was?’ Muslims are born as Americans everyday.” “The emails are accurate. No further comment at this time,” Peggy Cifrino, an aide to Powell, told CNN.

In another email, he said of Trump: “He appeals to the worst … of the GOP nature and poor white folks.” He also blasted Trump’s earlier statement where the New Yorker claimed he will win over African-American voters. “For him to say yesterday that within four years he would have 95% of blacks voting for him is schizo fantasy. And [former Fox News chief Roger] Ailes as an adviser won’t heal with women.”

Not talking about Donald J. Trump, probably the next president of the United States of America.

Talking about the phony Obama, the one who promised “transparency,” and would not even reveal his transcripts or LSAT! Heck, after the “birther” charges started, how many months did it take for B. Hussein to simply show his birth certificate?

Why not? You want a successful presidents school report card, but you give a four times bankrupt Putin surrogate with a pending trial for a fake college, a pass on tax returns. The way I see it, Obe could post a picture of a groundhog reading War and Peace, and it’s just as valid as your ridicules contention that for the first and ONLY time, a Harvard Law school graduate has to convince someone like you of his academic prowess.

We have had worse than that. John Adams, for example, was accused of being an out-and-out TRAITOR. Yes, those words were used: He was accused of conspiring with the British to help them invade. And Jefferson was called a traitor, too; accused of conspiring with the French.

His “birth certificate” issue was not a matter of race, of course. But people like you want to MAKE IT that. I can remember for over a year, people could not even make fun of B. Hussein without being called “RACIST!” John Leno was the first to say a simple joke, making fun of Obama’s ears that stick out. He was called a racist for that!

It is a convenient, yet hideously deceitful, approach to scream “RACIST” of any criticism of Obama.

                    • William September 16th, 2016 at 11:31

Stop changing the subject and answer the question. This isn’t about John Adams, this is about you right wing racist cowards all up in arms about a black man who had the nerve to get elected as President. You remain completely undaunted by Trumps lack of transparency, his lack of releasing tax records, medical records or COLLEGE transcripts.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 18th, 2016 at 19:58

I can spot a racist quite easily. Racists claim that people are against B. Hussein because of his skin color: Those people are racists.

I saw an interesting study: If the votes of only those who paid taxes were counted, B. Hussein would have lost in a landslide.

                      Interesting….. Rather revealing.

                    • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou September 24th, 2016 at 17:59

You say it’s interesting, I say it’s pointless. But then again, the only way conservatives can win an election is by disenfranchising people.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 26th, 2016 at 19:24

No. It showed that, as a group, people who don’t pay taxes want to confiscate the property of others (Socialism).

                    • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou October 15th, 2016 at 20:38

People who don’t pay taxes? You mean like Trump? Confiscate property? Like Trump?

The only thing it shows is that older, wealthier people tend to vote conservative.

Like I told Wayne Root, the idea of restricting vote based on the ability to pay taxes is blatantly unconstitutional. Did you ever think that one of the reasons you would have to employ such a plan to win elections is because you promote such ideas to win elections? Just like all the people who want to repeal the 19th Amendment since Nate Silver said Trump would win if only men voted.

It’s a sad commentary on the state of democracy that the only way either party can win is by manipulating the electorate and/or undermining the democratic process.

                    • RightThinkingOne October 16th, 2016 at 19:52

Donald Trump pays plenty of taxes, of course. How can you possibly think otherwise? It actually boggles my mind that people believe whatever comes across their television screens.

                    • RightThinkingOne October 16th, 2016 at 19:53

On the contrary: The wealthy tend to vote Democrat! Look it up!

                    • RightThinkingOne October 16th, 2016 at 19:54

I think that two things should be done with the vote:

                      1. A very basic, simple test. It would not be of reading ability or intelligence, but very basic knowledge, like how many senators are from each state, who is the VP, what are the 3 branches of government.

                      2. Raise the voting age to 25.

Contrary to what you far right radicals believe, EVERYONE pays taxes. If you want to talk about people who don’t pay their fair share look to your own side. People like the Koch brothers and your candidate for president (a job he is clearly unqualified for), Cinnamon Hitler.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 26th, 2016 at 19:36

I know. People pay sales tax. And some property owners pay that tax.

The study simply culled out people who don’t pay federal income taxes. That would be welfare leeches, many college students, and others who live off the generosity of others.

And actually, if you looked at group data, you will see that those of higher income brackets pay MORE – much more – of their incomes in income taxes (both as amount and as percentage), than the middle and other classes.

                    • Bob Cull September 27th, 2016 at 06:44

First of all let me address the LIE that those who don’t pay any federal income tax are all a bunch of “welfare leeches.” Most people who are not subject to income taxes are employed FULL TIME.

Those “job creators” with whom you far right radicals are so enamored of neither create those jobs nor do they pay a living wage and that is why those people are not subject to income tax, not because they are lazy.

Jobs are created by working people who are able to purchase the goods they produce, not corporations and certainly not the wealthy who are only interested in amassing more wealth.

Your next lie is that the wealthy pay more as a percentage of income. Only a complete fool would believe that. The man who has a higher income is always going to pay more in absolute dollars, and I’m sick of hearing how the wealthy pay most of the taxes, that is a function of that. The most ridiculous argument I hear from you apologists for the arrogant wealthy is that a truly “fair” tax would require everyone to pay the same dollar amount. That is grossly UNFAIR.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 27th, 2016 at 22:24

It is irrefutable that the wealthy pay a higher PERCENTAGE of their incomes in income tax.

If you REALLY wanted to know the truth, it is very, very simple to verify or refute this. I will tell you how:

Take any upper group – the top 1% or 5% – and see how much of the total national income they get.

Next, take the total income tax paid to the federal government. Look at what % is paid by those 1%ers or 5%ers.

Then, do the math: See what % of their incomes are paid, compared to the middle. You will see that they are paying more – in terms of PERCENT of their incomes!

What the media does is to put up extreme cases, where – for whatever reason – some “rich” guy pays low taxes one year. They try to make it look as typical. But if you look at the total group, you will get an entirely different picture.

                    • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou September 15th, 2016 at 12:54

Provide specific examples. Names, proof they did not meet Harvard’s admittance criteria, and proof of the harm it caused.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 15th, 2016 at 19:37

There is plenty of research that quotas were met. And it had a deleterious effect on many of those who were admitted under the quota system. Don’t you know the huge numbers of court cases in which it was proven – beyond doubt – that some highly qualified whites were not accepted in order to have more “people of color” in the universities? Look up the famous Bakke case for starters and you will see it lead to scores of others. And those are ones that came to light!

                      I guess Obama’s transcripts are with Reagan’s.
                      Meanwhile;
” He essentially spent his life trying to synthesize the duality of being one person in one place and being another person in another place. What I like to say to people is that Barack never meets a stranger, and that’s one of the things that makes him so effective as a politician. When he meets people, when he sees people, when he’s interacting with people, he isn’t inclined to stereotype people. He ultimately has met you before in some other experience, or someone just like you. …

Barack was not and is not predictable. He’s thoughtful. He’ll tell you what he believes. But it isn’t always what you expect. … His ideological approach is to the left and there was an expectation that as the president of the Law Review that he would side on the part of his more progressive colleagues. But he recognized that his role was such that he had to bring both sides together. And in order to publish the Law Review and to be productive in his term as president, he had to figure out how to make it work and how to make both sides work together, which meant that he wasn’t always going to side with his progressive colleagues, that he had to take the interests and the ideas of the people on the right into account.

It’s not to suggest that where he was on the issue was being reflected in the decision that he made. But it did reflect what he needed to do as a leader in order to produce the Law Review. …

It is Barack’s natural inclination to reach across the aisle. It’s personality. And it’s also just his intellect. … He’s not interested necessarily in dominating the conversation. He wants to bring people into the conversation. He wants to understand different points of view. And understanding those different points of view informs the way he thinks about issues. …

Your assertions reveals how little you actually know about Conservatism. Russell Kirk, in the minds of many, was the father of post-WW2 Conservatism. At least he was one of the major players.

                    • William September 15th, 2016 at 02:00

No…you’re a hypocrite. You demand the SAT scores from a successful president, but you don’t ask for financial records from a 4 times bankrupt candidate with ties to Russian money, a bribery investigation and a looming trial for a fake university…

That makes you a hypocrite. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/8598dd84c857a5e1493ef63f170427bd9fd7a75ca067c2ca0f3af1e680cd5cd7.png

Nice deflection to another subject. LOL

                    • William September 15th, 2016 at 02:22

No deflection. You demand the Presidents scholastic records for what reason? Why? When in the history of the country has that ever been an issue? You stated Trump would likely be our next president but you don’t show any concern whatsoever that he refuses to release tax records. That makes you a hypocrite, and likely a racist. No white president has ever been hounded for scholastic records.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 15th, 2016 at 19:11

To point out how much of a phony he is. That was clear. I wrote it 3 times.

                    • William September 16th, 2016 at 11:29

The reason is you’re a racist. You are completely unconcerned with the White guys transcripts. That’s a fact.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 18th, 2016 at 19:56

On the contrary: You are a racist. Your obsession with the color of skin is what is actually harming our nation.

                    • William September 15th, 2016 at 02:36

Now for the grand finale *drum roll please*. I always like to let a troll dig his own hole before I finally close the lid on his coffin. Now that I’ve let you rant on and on about what a horrible person Jurist Doctorate Obama is for not releasing his college records.

Donald Trump still refuses to release his college transcripts. You can look it up yourself…but then again, he’s white isn’t he. Pop in any time you need a little help humiliating yourself. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/07/dnc-2016-xavier-becerra-226407

                    • William September 15th, 2016 at 01:56

Why does anyone need his test scores? When at any other time did the GOP DEMAND someone’s test scores or transcripts? when? Or birth certificate? When? We both know the answer to that don’t we?
The fact of the matter is this.
No WHITE presidential candidate has ever been required to release that information.
If you can’t understand that a man who is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, and President of the Harvard law review is qualified, than you are clearly as dense as you successfully prove to this forum on a routine basis. I have simply concluded that you just like to hear yourself type. The party that tried to install a booze soaked idiot as VP during McCain’s miserable attempt at the White House, should really STFU about the academic qualifications of a Harvard law degree recipient.
President Obamas SAT scores or transcripts are about as applicable as what Serena Williams
eats for breakfast. Apparently whatever it is, it’s working both are VERY good at what they do. The unprecedented popularity rating of my President simply reinforces that notion, as well as the unprecedented job growth and economic recovery from the mess your frat boy, pretzel choked, clown, George left us.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 15th, 2016 at 02:03

Again (fifth repetition): Transparency. Heck, we know the SAT scores of the two presidents before him, Clinton and Bush, and Reagan showed his transcripts and made fun of his “B” average.

                      But B. Hussein? A phony!

                    • William September 15th, 2016 at 02:26

Yes you zero in on a Harvard law school graduates scholastic records but don’t care that a candidate with multiple bankruptcies, hundreds of lawsuits and an investigation for bribery and an impending trial for fraud won’t release tax records. Ha,Ha,Ha,Ha. I can only conclude you are a troll paid by the response.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 15th, 2016 at 19:12

Nice try at changing the subject. B. Hussein has been hiding his records for well over SEVEN years.

                    • William September 16th, 2016 at 11:28

Trump has refused to release his transcripts. That’s an actual fact you hypocritical sack of sh*t. Try disputing a fact once in a while.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 18th, 2016 at 19:55

                      B. Hussein has continued to hide his scores and transcripts.

                    • William September 16th, 2016 at 11:33

Donald Trump refuses to release his tax records, COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS or medical records..but then again he’s white isn’t he Skippy?

              • whatthe46 September 12th, 2016 at 00:51

OMG his response to your post is fricken hilarious! he says it has nothing to do with HIPPA, then says it’s up to her. i.e., because of HIPPA laws it can’t be disclosed unless she gives permission and she did. oh the stupid it burns. why hasn’t he had a convulsion yet? i’m dying laughing.

            • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou September 12th, 2016 at 12:32

She was only diagnosed on Friday. And she has also been diagnosed with allergies.

          • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 19:45

This media pressure on the Hideous Harridan is good: She might release some more information about her health. (But it probably will be lies.)

            • MyDogsAreSmarterThanYou September 14th, 2016 at 12:37

If you’re already convinced it will be lies, what do you care if she releases anything?
Amazing how Trump supporters want Hillary to release everything, but Donald doesn’t have to release anything. Where is his birth certificate? Transcripts? Taxes? Medical records? Trump Foundation records?

    • OldLefty September 11th, 2016 at 21:04

      She DOES have allergies.
      Everyone has ALWAYS known that.
It was in the original medical report.

      • RightThinkingOne September 11th, 2016 at 21:37

Yes. It is lying by omission. Like her lascivious Lothario of a husband saying “I did not have sex with that woman.” Technically, that was true. But it was a filthy lie.

        • Jack E Raynbeau September 12th, 2016 at 00:00

Too late for that. Bill is not running.

          • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 00:03

Well, if that hideous scavenger wins, we will have a Liar and a Lascivious Lothario disgracing our White House.

            • Jack E Raynbeau September 12th, 2016 at 01:24

And I will relish your 12 years of continuous butthurt.

Lascivious Lothario? You’re prose is rather purple, Prince.

          • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 00:46

Sorry. I will try to use easier words.

            • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 00:55

Oh, yeah, that’s it. I just don’t understand your ridiculous alliteration. That’s it. It’s not the size that matters, it’s the content. Ignorant BS comes in big AND small words and you are a living example of that truism.

If you ever use a word I don’t know or understand, I’ll ask you to explain it clearly and concisely. And dollars to donuts, it will be a direct copy and past job if you actually do so. Since you have shown you don’t understand what “explain” entails.

              • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 01:19

Those words might have been unfamiliar to you, but they certainly were not lengthy. Again, I apologize and will try to use easier words.

                • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 01:24

Nice deflection. Didn’t refute anything, or support anything. Failed again.

                • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 01:38

As I have said the last time you tried the deflection, BS comes in small words and big words. So choose whatever words you want, it’s still BS. Again, I don’t apologize for expecting you to back up your words. Which you have monotonously failed to do.

          • whatthe46 September 12th, 2016 at 00:48

            laughing.

        • OldLefty September 12th, 2016 at 06:53

          1) There was no lying by omission. EVERYONE (who wanted to know) knew that “she had “allergies.”, contrary to YOUR statement; “Another example of Hillary and her lies: She claimed she had “allergies.”
          2) Is that “another example of RightThinkingOne” and his/her lies??
          3) Clinton’s husband falling for the perjury trap has nothing to do with anything (another typical example of both the non sequitur and the red herring that the right loves so much.)
          4) “Lies”??? From Trump supporters??? The only place where Trump supporters get to accuse anyone ELSE of lying is in the Bizarro Universe where Superman is evil and Lex Luther is good.
Guess it is exactly THAT cognitive dissonance that inspired Trump to say, “I Could Stand In the Middle Of Fifth Avenue And Shoot Somebody And I Wouldn’t Lose Any Voters”.
He is truly the diametric opposite of EVERYTHING his supporters say he is.

They “go together” in a way that is obvious, but I now have to spell it out:

                1. Power hungry.
                2. Greedy.
                3. Selfish
                4. Liars
                Etc.

                • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 00:50

                  Prove ANY of that.

You make the claim, you have to back it up or we can simply disregard it as Alex Jones Dementia. I’m betting we’ll not be provided proof; no evidence you have the ability.

                  • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 01:18

It is obvious. And I have heard of Alex Jones. But I do not pay much attention to the media.

                    • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 04:10

Gee, that really has nothing to do with Alex Jones.

I DO get American Television. Even *I* have to actually go to the intertubes to get to his ONLINE media empire. What are you going to claim now? You don’t get the internet?

                    • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 19:17

Re-read my last post on this subject. You are showing your dishonesty.

                    • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 20:09

I’ve read it once. Didn’t require a re-read. Broadcast TV in no way prevents any bubba with internet access from getting him some access to Alex Jones. Alex Jones is not ON broadcast TV. That is a clear, concise, and fully accurate statement. Can you show that he IS? Because that is the proof required to prove that I am being dishonest. What network? What cable companies carry it? Where is this TV station located? What are its call letters? And of course, you will need cites for your proof, so your usual fact-free pronouncements won’t suffice.

Failed again. Why don’t you count your failures for me? Well, at least to 9 cuz we KNOW you can go that high.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 20:14

You are implying that I listen to Jones. That is dishonest and arrogant.

                    • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 20:42

No, I didn’t imply that you listen to Jones. I said, and I quote:

“You make the claim, you have to back it up or we can simply disregard it as Alex Jones Dementia.” Dementia similar to what you get from Alex Jones doesn’t REQUIRE you listen… because crazy fact-free BS has been present for a long time. Doubt me? Here:

I am. You’re not. As has been proven. (Remember, I have asked you repeatedly to show where your one sentence post actually condemned anything. Since you did NOT condemn, any subsequent claims that you did are bald-faced lies. Prove me wrong by quoting the word or phrase that includes condemnation. Failure to do so constitutes a tacit admission that those claims of its existence were lies.) And, frankly, unless you are claiming clairvoyance, you ASSUME what the implications were.

You’ve shown you THINK like Jones. Your internet history doesn’t change that at all. When you spew BS, it’s still BS no matter how many times (including zero) that you have visited disinfo.WTF.

I do not get American TV or radio. I do not know about Alex Jones, except that he comes up with wild conspiracy theories.

But please tell me all about him!

                    • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 04:04

You obviously have the internet. You can learn all about him after you finish your nightly homage at Stormfront.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 19:17

I do not get American television or radio. It is arrogant and presumptuous to proclaim that you know to what I listen or where I get my information. I told you my knowledge of Jones. But you resort to that dishonest and deceitful tactic of implying someone is a “liar” when they do not act as you want them to act, and also show your D&D by declaiming that you KNOW to what a complete stranger on the internet is listening.

                    • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 20:13

I don’t CARE if you get broadcast TV. It is superfluous. Since there is NO Alex Jones programming on broadcast TV, and claims of lack of familiarity BECAUSE you don’t have access to media HE’S NOT ON aren’t pertinent or valid. He’s on the internet. Only on the internet. You’re on the internet. So your lack of access to a medium he’s not on really doesn’t address your actual access to the medium he IS on. It’s self-evident that you have access to the internet.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 20:15

See? I did not even know where people listen to Jones. If you thought about what you write, that should tell you something! LOL

                    • bpollen September 12th, 2016 at 20:37

Your ignorance is without dispute, though not about Alex because “TV” because there is no evidence to support your claim. You said that you dont’ get broadcast TV, so you couldn’t know a guy who isn’t on TV. When I pointed that out to you, you said I was lying. Now you say “See, that’s proof I don’t know him.” You credibility is such that I could easily and reasonably interpret that as another lie.

You admit to what you claimed was a lie before. If you thought about what you write, that should tell you something.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 21:14

I have heard of Alex Jones. But you are dishonest, implying that I listen to him. I suggest you get a refund on your mind-reading courses.

Is it any wonder you have no clue about past American presidents. Maybe you should refrain from opining until you have the facts.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 19:48

I do know. I go by two major sources:
                      1. Gallup polls which show what the American people think. Reagan is on top!
                      2. Scholarly consensus. Ranges from the top 4 to 8 in our entire history.

                      Sor-ry.

                    • Bunya September 13th, 2016 at 11:26

Reagan trashed the economy. He sold arms to Iran which emboldened the extremists. He was one of the worst presidents in US history. Since you don’t live in this country, I can see why you’d like Ronald “Bonzo Goes to College” Reagan. You’re enamored with his idiocy.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 13th, 2016 at 19:22

Many historians say that one of the primary motivations for Ronald Reagan was not to accommodate Communism but to see that filthy ideology come to an end. After decades of our policy of stopping Commie expansion and accommodation (Carter said we have to accept a world with Communism), Reagan was asked his position on it. His answer was quite clear:
                      “We win, they lose.”

                      The Evil Empire.

                    • Bunya September 14th, 2016 at 10:15

Big deal. Talk is cheap. He also told Gorbachev to “tear down this wall”, and all the righties thought he showed the Russians who’s boss, unaware that Gorbachev was in the process of tearing down the wall at the time Reagan said that.
                      .
“We win, they lose”. He’s right about that, but it was the American people who lost.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 14th, 2016 at 19:22

The American people won, but it is appearing that you are pro-Russian Communist.

Liberals don’t credit Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, or Pope John Paul II with helping to end the Cold War; they give all of the human credit to Gorbachev.

The Leftist and radical anti-nuclear crusader Helen Caldicott said “[Gorbachev] is like Jesus”; Liberal columnist Mary McGrory wrote that “[Gorbachev] is a political leader to make Americans weep.”

Liberals eschew the role of the West and of America in particular in ending the Cold War because they can then credit the victory to a devout socialist leader.

                    • Bunya September 20th, 2016 at 10:28

Ronald Reagan tanked the US economy while aiding the communists. Pope John Paul II knew about the pedophile problem in the church and did nothing about it. Thatcher was blamed for spurring a doubling in the poverty rate. Britain’s childhood-poverty rate in 1997 was the highest in Europe. Ah yes. Three peas in the idiot pod.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 20th, 2016 at 20:37

The economy expanded, along with jobs, more than any peacetime in our history. And Leftist Communism came to an end shortly after his great presidency. And Bill Clinton inherited the “peace dividend” from one of our greatest presidents.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 19th, 2016 at 20:49

Even Gorbachev recognized Reagan’s role, saying “I am not sure what happened would have happened had he [Ronald Reagan] not been there.”

While giving Gorbachev his due for not sending in the tanks into Poland—at least in part because he wasn’t sure he could—it was Reagan who fatally undermined the confidence of the entire Communist bloc.

Gorbachev’s very appointment was due to Reagan: The Soviets felt they needed a younger, more modern leader to deal with Reagan. If the Soviets had still felt confident about an inevitable triumph of Communism, not only would they never have gambled with Gorbachev, they certainly would not have allowed the Perestroika movement.

                    • Bunya September 20th, 2016 at 10:18

The same man who tanked the American economy, did more for the Russians than he did for his own country. But then again, what can one expect from a thespian who starred in such outstanding movies as “Bonzo Goes to College”, “Bedtime for Bonzo”, and commercials for such successful companies like Boraxo.

                      Those are the facts.

Reagan expanded the federal government, tripled the deficit, raised taxes 11 times, disproportionately targeting to poor, ignored aides, traded arms for hostages, laundered the money to fund an illegal war in Nicaragua , inadvertently founded al Qaeda, and was cited by bin Ladin as an example of American weakness (after THREE attacks on Americans in Beirut).

He did a few good things, what they now call the “Obamaphone” being one of them.

By way, do WE worship the images of people (as in an icon on a screen name)?
They do that in the middle East, but usually Americans don’t carry photos of politicians around.

              BUTT!

I did support POTUS Reagan on his ‘AMNESTY’ for our southern friends and neighbors.

              AND!

POTUS Reagan holds the world’s record for drug trafficking to the USA bar none for almost 30 years now!

              and rumors are ….

the national media will at long last recognize the sacrifice of those who lost their lives in the 1983 Beirut bombing – maybe even covering a memorial service that SHOULD be held each and every year at Arlington.

(the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks, – the 1983 bombing of the US Embassy being a different matter).

POTUS Reagan hater – no, statements based on solid facts, yes.

No, he was one of the greatest presidents. It seems that a certain element wants to focus on whatever will turn people against this truth. They ignore the rollback of Communism, the years of peace, the new jobs, the renewal of our founding principles, the end of stagflation and the “misery index,” the PERMANENTLY lowering of income taxes, and on and on and on.

                • granpa.usthai September 12th, 2016 at 20:36

                  -years of peace- ?

not too many of them that I can remember.

                  rollback of Communism?

Communist seem to be very much alive and functioning quite well at the present.

                  new jobs?

like flipping burgers at a fast food instead of producing 1st rate steel?

                  end of ‘stagflation’?

that one will need some ‘splaining! – with dates included.

naturally! – the lower your income, the lower your income tax will be.

memories from one who survived POTUS Reagan’s ROLLING DEPRESSION ERA.

suggestions of putting poison in food dumpsters to kill off the embarrassing number of homeless in the streets of America.
Fortunately some quick thinker in the gop administration allowed at that time pointed out that unknown numbers of dead bodies throughout the streets of America might be a bit more embarrassing to his ‘christian’ administration.

                  cat food for old people!
just as nutritious as anything the POTUS could possibly be served – PLUS – they’re OLD so WTF!

“the USA simply cannot operate with a TRILLION dollar debt!”

“we’re merely changing from a manufacturing economy to a service economy”

and many other hilarious quotes about drug dealers, etc, etc, etc.

In a February 2011 national poll by Gallup, the public was asked, “Who do you regard as the greatest United States president?” Reagan received the highest percentage, followed by Lincoln.

In February 2012 he received the highest percentage again.

In addition, the percentage of people who chose him as our greatest president actually increased for the third year in a row.

Your copy and paste gig has made you look even dumber.
Reagan was not YOUR president. Get it?
              He was OUR president.
YOU don’t live or vote here.
              See how that works?

No C&P, and you know it. I posted a plethora of information. You show me where I did a C&P. Of course, one gets information and puts it together: That is what research, thinking and broad reading does.

But if you think that my lengthy responses were just “cut and pastes,” then you show me the source. Put up or apologize.

                LOL

Again, you have not shown anything. You simply do not like what I wrote and use that dishonest tactic.

          • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 22:27

Scholars were also queried: In 2000, a study was conducted in which 78 scholars from the fields of law, political science, and history—“explicitly balanced [to have] approximately equal numbers of experts on the left and the right”—rated Ronald Reagan as our eighth greatest president.

In 2005, the Federalist Society and the Wall Street Journal asked 130 prominent professors of history, law, political science, and economics—ideologically balanced—to rate our presidents. Reagan was ranked sixth in our entire history.

I was in the United States during the Reagan years.

And what the… does your military service have to do with anything? Ronald Reagan was loved by the military, by the way.

And don’t use that “veteran” crap. I am a disabled veteran, and I find it highly offensive when someone thinks he can throw out the “I am a veteran” on a site to gain points or start the garbage that implies:, “Hey, if you disagree with me, you are disrespecting veterans.”

I do not USE my veteran – disabled veteran, pal – status to try to gain points, get status or bully others. I find it offensive when a person does!

                • William September 12th, 2016 at 23:08

Like taking battleships out of mothballs (they got seven feet to the gallon), and some really stupid sh*t I can’t really talk about, but trust me he really wanted to start a war with Libya

Then perhaps you’d like to stop the cut and paste for a few moments and explain some actual failing of Reagan. How about the tripling of the national debt and the Contra affair? Just those two. See if you can cut and paste an explanation for just those two. That’s not too much to ask for someone who has done so much “reading” on Reagan is it?

                  • whatthe46 September 12th, 2016 at 23:32

i tried that tactic once, and they went way over ——–> completely changing the subject.

                  • RightThinkingOne September 13th, 2016 at 00:19

I did not “cut and paste.” Explain how you know that. Or apologize. OK with one, but your arrogance will claim I “cut and pasted” it, and that would be a filthy lie.

Reagan was desperate to get any aid to the anti-Communists; in 1985 he even agreed to limit the aid to humanitarian purposes, to “food, medicine, clothing and other assistance.” Former Klansman Senator Robert Byrd complained that “other assistance” was too vague. Democrat John Glenn compared Reagan’s paltry $14 million request to Lyndon Johnson’s expansion of the war in Vietnam: “It’s an advanced Gulf of Tonkin resolution if I’ve ever heard one.”

In 1986 Reagan pleaded again for some funds for the Contras. White House Communications Director Pat Buchanan said that they could vote with the Contras or with the Communists.

Reagan’s staff devised a plan: Get private funding. They collected it from private individuals, various foreign countries, private organizations and even the Sultan of Brunei. Israel sold arms to Iran, and some of the proceeds was diverted to the Contras. Israel had reasons to sell arms to Iran, which was then at war with Iraq. Israel worked with moderates in the Iranian government to pressure whackos in Lebanon to release American hostages.

The Liberals were outraged. If they had done this to fund getting clean needles to drug addicts, there would have been no problem, but diverting money to anti-Communists was a “constitutional crisis.” Liberals had not felt so alive since they used Watergate to abandon Vietnam, leaving it to totalitarian monsters. Liberals thought it should be a criminal offense to give aid to anti-Communists.

Reagan’s strategy against the Evil Empire was to put pressure wherever the USSR was supporting regimes far from their borders that were weak and hard little support and would collapse if aid were withdrawn. They were overextended in Nicaragua. On December 1, 1981, Reagan authorized the CIA to furnish arms and training to the Contras against the Marxist Sandinista government, to prevent Nicaraguans from subverting the El Salvadoran government.

In 1983, Congress was denying funds to OVERTHROW the Communists in Nicaragua, so Reagan signed funding that said the purpose of aid to the Contras was to pressure the Saninistas to democratize and cease destabilizing El Salvador.

OK, can you reason? Can you be logical and mature when I make the most simple of requests? Provide a clear rationale for your declaring I cut and pasted, or show from where that was done.

If you do not, you lose all credibility and reveal the type of person you are.

One simple comment: I know that haters of the great Ronald Reagan use a certain deceitful tactic. Of course, no human being is perfect and any presidency has had problems and mistakes. So, dishonest and deceitful people try to make some “mistakes” (what the pro-Socialist Liberals call “mistakes”) appear to be the sum total of the presidency.

I provided details from my wide study, reflection and reading. Oliver North was a hero, an American hero. But the gist of all of this really was the struggle against Leftist Communism.

                    • William September 13th, 2016 at 00:41

You fail to justify even the most rudimentary of Reagans failures, IE tripling the national debt, his devastating effect on the economy or anything else for that matter. Now you want to change the subject to Oliver North? Pathetic, just pathetic. Why not use some actual evidence to dispute the figures I provided instead of tossing around lame right wing buzz-phrases like “Pro-socialist liberal”? You have nothing. No facts, no figures, just stupid, lame right wing blog cut and paste.

Over the past 30 years there has been a downward trend in US productivity growth. Under Reagan, productivity grew at a 1.5 percent annual rate. This was lower than in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, but much higher than in the post-Reagan years.

Under Clinton, productivity increased at an annual rate of just 0.3 percent per year. Domestic spending grew at a slower real rate under Reagan than under all other recent presidents. Five-year tax and spending projections under President Carter’s last year would have seen taxes and spending rise from about 21 percent of GDP to 24 percent by 1984.

Domestic outlays as a share of GDP fell from 15.3 to 12.9 percent from 1981 to 1989. If defense spending had been held to the rate of inflation from 1981 to 1989, the total real deficit would have fallen in the 1980s rather than risen; however, the decline in the military budget accounts for almost the entire fall in the deficit from 1988 to 1996.

                    • RightThinkingOne September 13th, 2016 at 00:54

Robert Barro of the Wall Street Journal concluded that from 1949 until 1992, on the conditions of unemployment, changes in inflation and long-term interest rates, Reagan’s first and second terms were number one among all administrations.

But possibly most of all, it exasperates Modern Liberals that nearly all other industrialized countries emulated and followed the Reagan tax plan!

                      A “cut and paste”:
Norway cut its top tax rate from 75 percent to 54 percent, Finland cut rates from 71 percent to 54 percent…New Zealand from 60 percent to 33 percent…Canada, from 58 percent to 45 percent; Austria, from 62 percent to 40 percent; Japan, from 75 percent to 50 percent.

The presidency of Ronald Reagan in the United States was marked by multiple scandals, resulting in the investigation, indictment, or conviction of over 138 administration officials, the largest number for any U.S. president. Now that’s an actual cut and paste Skippy.

          • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 22:28

Ronald Reagan not only changed America, but the world: Before Reagan took office, interest rates hit 21 percent, Ted Kennedy bellowed for gas rationing, and there were fuel shortages. Capitalism and democracy were in retreat, the Third World was opting for Marxism and Socialism, and the Soviet nuclear arsenal surpassed that of the United States for first time.

After Reagan, there was no inflation to speak of, we had normal interest rates, housing starts were up, gas prices went down, the oil crisis ended, 20 million new jobs were created, the stock market doubled, the poverty rate declined, and the United States became the vanguard of technology in the world.

Not only that, but soon after, the Soviet Union collapsed and Socialism was in disrepute. The American economy went into high gear, and the technological revolution took off; young people wanted to be entrepreneurs and not Peace Corps volunteers.

The Founders gained a new status: People began to look at our Constitution and founding principles. The welfare state stopped growing, and the idea of wanting “bigger government” came to an end. Ronald Reagan’s defense buildup restored morale to the military and built respect for our armed forces in the public mind. When Ronald Reagan built up our military, recruitment and retention increased, and the quality of new soldiers improved. Even GI Joe Action Figures were selling like hotcakes, and the antiwar TV program M*A*S*H* ended in 1983 after 11 years.

Why do you refuse to claim I copied an opinion? What I carefully wrote is a distillation of wide reading and research over years. Prove otherwise. Provide the source from which I copied, dishonest one. Or provide a rationale for how you can possible declare that.

You’re trying to BS us that GWB / Cheney Trickle down rained on you? As of 2016, 15 M+ Private Obama Jobs created, ‘2/3 via the Dems $100 B/yr Five year private Jobs Stimulus’-CBO. Vs Q4-08 $12.7 T GDP shrinking -9% APR losing 800,000 jobs per Month! 1/3 of the Dems stimulus delivered ‘the largest middle-class tax cuts in U.S. History!’ Reproving repubs just aren’t credible.

                      2015 U.S. record $18.5 T GDP growing +3% APR = +$5 T GDP!

If you agree that I cut and pasted, then either provide the source or provide a good rationale for coming to that conclusion.

I think that such a charge is made because that is easier than speaking to the points.

Hey, I will SPELL OUT your “document’s” major flaw, its dishonesty, its deceitfulness. It is VERY simple. Extremely obvious and simple. The haters of Reagan were disingenuous, and it is soooo obvious.

It requires some time for policies to go into effect, but the revisionist haters begin an analysis from the day Ronald Reagan took office (actually from three weeks before), not from when the results of his policies started to be felt. If we analyze data after Reagan’s policies had time to go into effect, the information changes dramatically

Read that again: From BEFORE Reagan took office!

Hey! That would be like blaming Obama for the economic woes BEFORE any of his policies went into effect, and it would include the time BEFORE Congress could even have approved of them, never mind putting them into effect and waiting for the results!

THIS IS LOGIC AND COMMON SENSE!

                    • whatthe46 September 20th, 2016 at 20:05

Reagan was well-liked by the young: He got three-quarters of first time voters and an 82 percent approval rating from people under the age of 24. Liberal Pat Moynihan said, “I’ll tell you what chills the blood of liberals. It was always thought that the old bastards were the conservatives. Now the young people are becoming the conservatives and we’re the old bastards.”

          • RightThinkingOne September 12th, 2016 at 22:30

So what did Ronald Reagan bequeath that Modern Liberals detest so much?

First of all, Ronald Reagan put Conservative ideas in the mainstream; this may be his greatest enduring legacy. Modern Liberals abhor this, and it is the main reason that they want to discredit him and defile his memory. Ronald Reagan’s victories meant the defeat of the New Left, and today’s Modern Liberals are well aware of this. They loathe him for it. Harvey Mansfield, Professor of Government at Harvard University, concluded that Reagan’s overwhelming victory in 1980 was “a general repudiation of the values of the 1960s.”

            • William September 12th, 2016 at 22:48

Ronald Reagan tripled the national debt. He raised taxes on the middle class 7 times. He raised the debt ceiling 11 times. He even spent billions re-commissioning obsolete WWII battleships. His administration was lousy with corruption. People were arrested and convicted. He gave arms to terrorists. He laid a wreath on the grave of Nazi SS soldiers I could go on and on, but here’s the deal.
              You weren’t there. I was.
You’re not in the club. You don’t live here, and what you think of that senile loser doesn’t really count…
              does it?

Wrong. I have studied this thoroughly. The Reagan-haters have manipulated data. They are liars, deceivers, and dishonest.

The Liberals’ attempts to deprecate the Ronald Reagan economic record provide an excellent example of how they distort and manipulate data for their purposes. It requires some time for policies to go into effect, but Liberals begin an analysis from the day Ronald Reagan took office (actually from three weeks before), not from when the results of his policies started to be felt!!!!!

If we analyze data after Reagan’s policies had time to go into effect, the information changes DRAMATICALLY: Real economic growth averaged 3.2 percent during the Reagan years versus 2.8 percent during the Ford-Carter years and 2.1 percent during the Bush-Clinton years; real median family income grew by $4,000 during the Reagan period after experiencing no growth in the pre-Reagan years, and it experienced a loss of almost $1,500 in the post-Reagan years; and interest rates, inflation, and unemployment fell faster under Reagan than they did immediately before or after his presidency.

When Jimmy Carter’s economic policies were in place, family incomes plummeted by 9 percent, but after Reagan’s economic policies took effect (1982–89), family incomes rose by 11 percent.

By the end of the Reagan years, the American economy was almost one-third larger than it was when it began. GDP growth per adults age 20-64 in the Reagan years grew twice as rapidly, on average, as it did in the pre- and post-Reagan years. From 1982 through 1989, the US economy produced over 17 million new jobs, well over two million new jobs each year: Contrary to the Clinton administration’s claims of vast job gains in the 1990s, the United States has averaged only 1.3 million new jobs per year in the post-Reagan years.

Not long ago, Steven Forbes wrote the following:

“Between the early 1980s and 2007 we lived in an economic Golden Age. Never before have so many people advanced so far economically in so short a period of time as they have during the last 25 years. Until the credit crisis, 70 million people a year were joining the middle class. The U.S. kicked off this long boom with the economic reforms of Ronald Reagan, particularly his enormous income tax cuts. We burst from the economic stagnation of the 1970s into a dynamic, innovative, high-tech-oriented economy.”

      >> America chooses truth.

Let’s hope a majority of Americans do.

Thanks to Fox and other conservative media, millions of Americans don’t care about the truth, facts, logic, science, etc.

      “Truth,” for them, is emotional.

Trump reply to Hillary’s pneumonia diagnosis to Fox & Friends,
“The coughing fit was a week ago, so I assume that was pneumonia also … Something’s going on but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail and we’ll be seeing her at the debate.”

Unlike many brutal response from Republican critics, Trump’s gentle reply was a surprise to me.

“I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail” ?!!!

WOW, He took a wrong MED before the interview?

  12. granpa.usthai September 12th, 2016 at 20:55

    WOW!

    pneumonia and still kicking butt!

good thing she can afford treatment. Less than 100 years ago, only the wealthy could afford such, – had a grandfather of my own that died from pneumonia… can’t help but think he’d be rooting for Hillary on this and a lot more issues! I know this grandson of his is! – and his grandson’s grandson! I suppose one could say Hillary is a quad generational AMERICAN!?!

give ’em hell, Hillary – just like Harry S. did!

    as in:

“America was not built on fear, America was built on courage, on imagination and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand”. – H.S. Truman
