House Armed Services Committee Chair: ‘I’ve got concerns’ about Trump
The Republican chair of the House Armed Services Committee is not comfortable with Donald Trump as a potential commander-in-chief.

Mac Thornberry (R-Texas), who has previously expressed wariness of Trump’s bid, would not specifically answer whether he had confidence in the businessman’s abilities to be commander in chief during an MSNBC interview Wednesday afternoon. The exchange was reminiscent of one earlier in the day on the same network, no less, with Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Bob Corker (R-Tenn.). (The forum is airing live on NBC and will be simulcast on MSNBC.)
Asked whether he had confidence in his party’s nominee, Thornberry instead responded that both Trump and Clinton have prompted concerns from ” a number of national security folks,” adding, “that’s part of the reason that tonight is important, and the next two months is important as we listen to what they would do as far as our position in the world and especially with regard to the United States military.”
The most important question, Thornberry continued, is “what would you do specifically to strengthen the U.S. military, which is the most important force for good in the world.”

Yeah, I have concerns, too.
Lots of them.
For example, when Trump filed to run, a financial disclosure form said he had 5 loans of over $50 million outstanding.
Trump’s general practice is to borrow for his projects, and a number of them were for over $100 million, such as the old post office in Washington, D.C. that he’s turning into a hotel. I seem to recall he borrowed over $120 million for that one.
Trump often takes these loans from foreign banks, which makes him beholden to foreigners.
Hmmm, wonder who he planned to borrow from to get his Trump Tower built in Moscow?
