Protesters greet Trump at black church

“What do you have to lose?” the crowd asked.
“Everything,” they answered.
The chant was a direct mockery of Trump’s repeated pitch to black voters.

many white people have stood with blacks when it comes to inequality and equal rights. they were there during the civil rights movement. so, it’s not surprising to me.

This was absolute absurdity at the highest level. Trump reading a prepared statement rather than actually talking to the people there , after the things he has said off the cuff for the last year, is disgusting. Just by putting this farce on at an all black church in Detroit, Trump is mocking the black community across the country. I hope they can see through this as the rotten pandering gamesmanship it is.
