Trump surrogate: Hillary a bigot because she’s biased against racists

Trump surrogate Scottie Nell Hughes is amplifying her candidate’s ridiculous name-calling of Hillary Clinton.

During a Sunday panel discussion on CNN, MTV correspondent Jamil Smith argued that Trump’s hiring of Breitbart chief Steve Bannon showed that GOP presidential campaign was a “rebranding of white supremacy.”

“I would say that [Breitbart is] part of the white supremacist machine,” Smith asserted. “They are trying to make sure these views become mainstream. And I think, through Trump, they are finding a way to do that.”

Hughes, however, accused the media of “redefining what fair means in this election.”

“Hillary Clinton’s problem, she’s having a problem with engagement,” Hughes opined. “And she’s worried about in November, the same very valuable demographic of the African-American vote is not going to be as engaged as they were in 2008 and 2012 to get out and vote.”

According to the pundit, Trump had been right to call Clinton a “bigot” because the term was not only about racial discrimination.

“Bigotry, if you look at the definition, it’s about someone who’s small-minded and sits there and directs hate towards a certain group,” she explained. “Hillary Clinton’s speech [attacking alt-right conservatives] was all about hate towards a group that, while my fellow counterpart might consider them to be very racist, it’s the exact opposite.”

This election season won’t be over soon enough for me…

Wow. My intolerance of your intolerance toward minorities shows that I’m a bigot. And that, folks, is the GOP.

I just spit all over the keyboard and screen when she said “Donald Trump went to Louisiana and handed out supplies”…

and we have how much longer to listen to this stupidity?

  5. StoneyCurtisll August 28th, 2016 at 15:00

    I thought I had seen it all…
    I’m 55 years old..
There is not a whole lot that shocks, amazes or freaks me out anymore, there isn’t much I haven’t seen already…
But this freak show called The Trump campaign, it’s like nothing I have seen before..
    It’s Like P.T. Barnum on methamphetamine….
Do theses people have no limit to their madness?

It doesn’t seem like it. Just when you think they’ve reached bottom, they exceed everything they’ve done previously. Fifty years from now if someone reads a history of this campaign, it will read like fantasy fiction. Or stoner fiction, if there is such a thing.

      • StoneyCurtisll August 28th, 2016 at 15:09

        I think I posted a video on that earlier…:)

        Unless they win.

And then the fifty year old history books will read trumps campaign of an era of enlightenment.

This seems to me what is stake here, even if they don’t win.

It would be no different from the Robber Barons of the 19th century. It would be an era to be ashamed of.

If he wins there are very good odds all the books, except the Bible, will have been burned.

And the Bible will have to be translated into Trumpese.

“OK, and God said, believe me, he said this, he said: “Let there be light, OK? And guess what happened next. Guess what happened. There was light. And it was the most beautiful light you ever seen, OK? Now God, you know, God, he’s a good friend of mine. The best.”

I lived in Ethiopia when Hailee Selassie was in power and the threat of his violent overthrow was imminent, l lived in the Panama Canal Zone when Omar Torijos was dictator, I lived in Northern Ireland during The Troubles and lived in Jeddah Saudi Arabia under threat of attack and what is happening in this country today is more frightening than all of them put together. The outpouring of racism, the anti LGBT fervor, the blatant theocracy, the nonchalant use of lies, the eager spread of hatred and the almost gleeful spread of fear from the right that has been brought to a pustulant head by this evil bast*rd is terrifying.

  7. StoneyCurtisll August 28th, 2016 at 16:54

I give Trump two more weeks at top…
Until he appoints David Duke as his racial relations advisor…
“what does he have to lose?

“alt-right” aka Storm-Front, far Right Nationalist, Sovereign Citizen, Neo Nazi, Bundy Ranch, “warrior for the babies”, doctor killers, anti-government hate groups,(see the ones I just mentioned)…
I could go on and on…..
But Breitbart sums it all up…(all of the above)

Hahahahahaha… NO “Bigot” – a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions. I think Clinton would proudly stipulate that she’s bigoted against racists. Let’s see the TorRies stand up and claim that makes her bigoted against them… ;)
