“He also recognizes there is a threat around the world, not just here in Minnesota, of radical Islam,” she said. “I wish our President Obama also understood the threat of radical Islam and took it seriously.”

Is anyone out there old enough (like me) to remember the great sf show, THE FIFTH DIMENSION? (I think that was the title.) I sometimes think this year we are living in it. Michele Bachmann is going to advise Trump on “Christian” and foreign policy issues.
Let me be clear: as a Democrat who twice voted for Pres. Obama, I think he has been for the most part, very BAD on foreign policy and his foreign policy has proven to be a floundering failure in most important respects. I think his domestic policy has been very GOOD.
But – anyone taking Michele Bachmann’s advice on ANYTHING is a scenario out of The Fifth Dimension. It doesn’t matter of course because we are in the unprecedented situation of a candidate, Trump, who takes no advice from anybody about anything. (maybe from his family who know less than he does, if possible.)
And as to Mrs. Bachmann advising on “Christian” issues, I can only comment that if one is a Christian adhering to the views of Tomas de Torquemada of 16th century Spain, her advice would be palatable.
