                    Any idiot can claim that they were banned because “That site can’t handle the truth!”,but if that “truth” includes scatological remarks having nothing to do with the topic, then it’s not welcome here.

                      You are free to make suggestions as to what any public figure puts anywhere for any reason; they’re fair game, and unless the language gets vile, I really don’t care (but be creative, please!).
                      But calling another poster an “ignorant Hillary-loving sheeple” is a few steps away from suggesting they put kitchen implements into their orifices.
                      Glad we could come to an accord.

                      Had I been “looking to wack this guy from the time he first showed up”, I would have.
                      But no, he was not banned, because he brought out some pretty good rebuttals from people (yourself included), and filled out the threads.
                      I really don’t care if someone is liberal, conservative, libertarian, Marxist, communist, anarchist, or none of the above; everyone here is free to state their opinions and put forth arguments that either prove their point, or prove they’re a fool (and believe me, there’s no group that hasn’t had someone do that at one time or another, myself being no exception).
                      But I will not tolerate the type of vomment he made.
                      He is more than welcome to start a new disqus account using a new e-mail, and come back. But when he says something like that, he gets banned again.

              Since immigration law is not based on your beliefs, but on the United States Constitution, your beliefs are irrelevant, as well as pathetic.

              Then there is the 14th amendment. The last clause of Section 1 is not restricted to citizens. Not just citizens, it says PERSONS.

              You asked about the DNC speaker claiming that he did no identify any Constitutional violation. I am pointing out the unConstitutional proposals coming from the Trump campaign. To that point, your opinions are completely irrelevant. There was good reason to suggest Trump needs to read the Constitution.

                I bet the law does allow those making decisions to form general judgments.

                We would let people into this country regardless of what they believe? I doubt it. What if they believe that everyone else immigrating into the country should kill jews – and say so?

                And I didn’t ask what was said elsewhere, But I find it very confusing that someone to tell Trump to read the constitution without any basis in the article as to why very suspicious OR the he himself needs to read the constitution

          You obviously have never heard of the 14th Amendment. See, after the 1st Amendment came the 2nd Amendment. But, Hapless, they didn’t stop there. They added MORE. And one of those, the 14th, says that we all have the right to equal protection under the law.

          How in the HELL did you get the impression that people thought the Muslim ban violated the 1st?

      Equal protection under the law – see the 14th Amendment. Further, Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act bans discrimination on the basis of religion.

      My copy of the Constitution also contains the text of the Declaration of Independence.
      Ever read it, Mr. Pearce? There’s a section where they list the offences of King George III that caused them to declare independence.
      Here’s one near the top:

      He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither,

      So are we to believe that you, a Libertarian of some sort, wants to discriminate on the basis of religion and would have stood with King George III during the Revolution?

    I accidentally turned the channel to faux entertainment this morning and it was like watching a car crash, I couldn’t turn away. They were talking about how horrible the convention went and how Hillary’s speech fell flat. It was like I was in a different universe, they were saying the exact opposite of what everyone else was saying. No wonder they cannot call themselves anything other than an entertainment network, they are not making sense to the large majority of us. Most of us don’t hate people just because they are different than us or vote for the other party, watching that channel you would think we live our daily lives fighting against the “other”.

      Those clowns have a big surprise in store. They have nominated the perfect candidate for Hillary to run against. I don’t claim to fully understand women, but I have the strong impression that the women of America are sick of blustering blowhard sexists like Trump who have leered, cheated and otherwise offended them by treating them as chattel. I think the rage of American women will build like a mighty wave in the ocean and wipe this clown out like a child’s sand castle on the beach.
      I think Hillary will also get the votes of those who voted for Obama in 2012, and cruise to an easy victory because women, African Americans and Latinos will compose a significantly greater portion of the electorate.
      Not only will Trump be smashed, but the GOP will be shattered like a martini glass dropped from the Empire State Building.

    It was beautiful hearing this father’s speech. It was moving just now to read the text of it.
    I never tire of reading stories of immigrants to this country. They go far to reminding us of the greatness of our country and how important it is that we maintain the values that made this country what it is.
