But even if it were 100% true (not likely), statisticians don’t look at such small samples. They don’t mean much. They look at trends over a number of years. Individual numbers fluctuate from year to year, so you have to look at a period of time. You wouldn’t make an investment decision based on one day’s stock market results.

Maybe Obama was trying to say there is no explanation why all the violence is happening but you can bet your next paycheck the gop will always say it’s Islamic related ( before the investigation is completed ) followed by Obama is to blame
