Actor Sabato at RNC on Obama ‘not a Christian name…I believe he’s on the other side’

Posted by | July 19, 2016 08:19 | Filed under: Media/Show Business News Behaving Badly Politics

Actor Antonio Sabato, Jr. is one of the celebrities who came to Cleveland to praise Trump.

He heavily criticized President Obama before saying, in a chat with an ABC News convention panel, “I don’t believe the guy is a Christian. I don’t believe he follows the God that I love and the Jesus that I love.”

Sabato even remarked upon “Obama” and said, “It’s not a Christian name, is it?”

Sabato declared, “I believe that he’s on the other side.” When asked what the “other side” is, “The Middle East… the bad guys.”

And just in case that wasn’t clear enough, a minute later he said, “We had a Muslim president for seven and a half years… I have the right to believe that.”

“I have the right to believe that.”
    Yep … stupidity is legal.

  2. William July 19th, 2016 at 08:49

    Just sayin’

    • TiredOldGuy July 19th, 2016 at 09:09

I had never given that a thought. That would have been a good question for Sister Mary Holywater in grade school.

      • Larry Schmitt July 19th, 2016 at 10:34

The one they never explained to me was “You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church.” Not once, in all my years in Catholic school and going to Mass, did anyone ever explain that one. And we weren’t encouraged, or even allowed, to ask questions. They were never good at explaining.

        • TiredOldGuy July 19th, 2016 at 10:53

We had a nun who pitched a fit because some of us asked questions when one of the priests came into our classroom. She told us that asking questions showed that we lacked faith and would probably end up in hell. She then made us write some bible passage 100 times after school. We just stopped asking questions and bounced our heads up and down like a stuffed dog in the back window of a ’57 Chevy whenever the priest visited.

          • Larry Schmitt July 19th, 2016 at 11:14

If that doesn’t convince you to leave the church when you get old enough to think, I don’t know what will. The only thing that kind of reaction does is convince the kids that the adults don’t know the answers.

          • Lyndia July 19th, 2016 at 23:15

There was a fire in Chicago, in the 1950’s that killed 98 children and 2 or 3 nuns. I heard that as the fire was going through the school, a few nuns, to the child the child to pray. Is that what you call faith or stupidy?

        • Gary Parillo July 19th, 2016 at 20:34

The one Jesus actually appointed to lead the first band of followers was “James”, his own brother! The Peter and rock nonsense came about way later and is another interpolation. There “wasnt any church” at the time that he supposedly said that, which he never said.More western christianity nonsense!

        • whatthe46 July 19th, 2016 at 20:57

how do you answer a question when there’s no answer for it. i remember just as a child, wondering, wait a minute none of this makes any sense. not adam & eve and most certainly the noah’s ark story seemed reasonable to me.

          • TiredOldGuy July 19th, 2016 at 21:15

The Ark Encounter opened the other day about 30 minutes south of me. The Freedom From Religion Foundation sent letters to all the schools in the surrounding areas advising them not to plan student trips since it is a religious exhibition. Ken Ham then told the schools that he would cut the price from $28 to $1 for kids and teachers were free.

they also got millions in tax dollars to fund this damn thing. they also don’t hire anyone not “christian” so, if you’re a real Christian or you are not religious in any way, you won’t be hired to work there. i hope some crazy nut job burns that damn place down to the ground.

    • granpa.usthai July 19th, 2016 at 09:31

      sigh!

from the 1511 KJV, granpa Wil.

      hell, (‘cuse me, heck)

they’re all listed right there in the part that comes right after the SEVEN (7) BOOKS the KJV boys threw out cause they was too “PAPAL -ish” for the English Church.

besides, they were probably pretty well exhausted from trying to come up with English words that sounded like the Italian words that sounded like the Greek words that sounded like the Hebrew words for God’s inerrant word that we have in the “new” english today!

      sigh!

just ‘believe’ or at least ‘pretend’, OK?

Who were also white with fine hair and blue eyes. It seems out of place considering the rest of the population in the Middle East….https://youtu.be/6b0ftfKFEJg

WTF? do any of these asses know, that President Obama is not running for a third term? this crap was brought up in 08 and he’s still harping on it. aside from the fact that religion is not a qualification for the job. and if President Obama isn’t a Christian, what in the fk is tRump?

    • granpa.usthai July 19th, 2016 at 09:33

      WWJB?

      (what would Jesus be?)

    • Tommie July 19th, 2016 at 10:57

They have to get in all their Black attacks! At least until Cory Booker gets in the White House!

    • crc3 July 19th, 2016 at 12:54

      The devil himself?

    • Lyndia July 19th, 2016 at 23:10

If you listen to them, President Obama IS running for a third term. They are stupid and backwards in their thinking. Blinded by racism.

      • whatthe46 July 19th, 2016 at 23:30

and still pissed that he kicked their asses twice.

  4. granpa.usthai July 19th, 2016 at 09:20

one ” Muslim” POTUS does more for the peoples of the USA in 7 and 1/2 years than 7 and 1/2 POTUSes I can name in my lifetime for a total of 36 years in office?

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

why not keep a “Muslim” (or someone they believe will make a good POTUS) in power?

and, I’m missing the “christian” name thing.

I mean, I would associate a name like Sabato with someone who would thrust a spear into the side of someone that’s already hanging on a crucifix dead.

I love how she calls Pence, Apostle Mike. These people are friggin nuts and obviously not the sharpest tools in the shed. That 13 year old kid scares the eff out of me though, he wants to create a group called “Children for trump”?

      • StoneyCurtisll July 19th, 2016 at 10:27

If trump mixed up a batch of grape drink and cyanide, you can bet most of them would drink from the dixie cups..
        “drink the kool-aid children”

        • Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2016 at 10:37

Amazing the power the “rich” has over these people, how many rich people have ever invited them to dinner or a golf game? None, and yet they follow rump blindly.

        • Lyndia July 19th, 2016 at 23:08

          Yes, like Jim Jones.

      • StoneyCurtisll July 19th, 2016 at 10:39

Wanna bet that 13 year old ‘children for Trump’ kid is home schooled?…
He looks like he has seldom been more than 100 feet away from his mother.

        • Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2016 at 11:43

If he had feathers I would mistake him for her parrot.

          • StoneyCurtisll July 19th, 2016 at 11:45

            Colorful feathers….:)

      • TiredOldGuy July 19th, 2016 at 11:00

There is some clown from “Pastoral Services” who comes in my room every time I’m in the hospital and the 1st thing out of his mouth is “Hello Brother, I’m Brother Paul …” Have to stop him every time with “I’m not your brother and I specifically requested no religious visits. He always looks like he’s going to cry.

        • Larry Schmitt July 19th, 2016 at 14:49

Years ago while in the Air Force, I lived in the barracks for a while, and these two religious types were going door to door to see if they could engage anyone in bible talk. I told them no, I wasn’t interested the first couple of times, but they didn’t get the message. Finally I had to flat out tell them to quit bothering me or they would regret it. All I meant was I would tell the first sergeant, but they must have thought I had violence in mind. They finally stopped.

      • crc3 July 19th, 2016 at 12:52

The kid has been brain washed by his parents. Hope that reality hits him before it’s too late but I doubt it!!

        • Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2016 at 15:43

He seems pretty secure in his belief, I don’t see him making a run for it any time soon unfortunately.

          • Red Mann July 19th, 2016 at 18:02

100:1 he’s home schooled using A Beka or the like.

            • Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2016 at 19:40

I Googled A Beka, I was not familiar with it and I have been working in schools for 2 years. I do not feel it is competition for our public schools, but it is scary thought that parents can educate their children on their own. I have gone to school 5 years to be certified in Connecticut, not just anyone can do this job.

              • Red Mann July 19th, 2016 at 19:56

There’s a entire cottage industry of extreme Christians doing their best to undermine the public school system. The DeVos family is a major player in this.

                • Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2016 at 20:23

Well it is a good thing I live in a liberal state and I work in a blue collar area so no one can stay home and home school their kids. I believe the worst part of homeschooling is having a kid that will not have the social skills most other kids will have, and that is a huge asset that would be terrible to not have.

              • Lyndia July 19th, 2016 at 23:05

                YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!!

          • whatthe46 July 19th, 2016 at 21:50

by the time he’s ripe, he’ll find that they didn’t tell him there’s an expiration date on stupidity. no one is listening anymore.

        • whatthe46 July 19th, 2016 at 21:49

he’s going to create a teen get together website. blow jobs and going in the back door isn’t a sin. neither is swallowing.

That phrase always reminds me of the first Hellraiser movie.

Which makes me think… Pinhead didn’t murder babies and he doesn’t try to present a false “good” side, he must be fine too.
I mean, going by that standard, why not…

        #Pinhead/Krueger2016

  7. jybarz July 19th, 2016 at 10:10

Jesus Christ was from the Middle East which the idiot refers as the other side- the bad guys.
    Jesus was actually “Isa” originally.
And Antonio Sabato is actually “Asshole” or “Stupid” or “Idiot” or just plainly “Asshole Stupid Idiot”.

  8. Suzanne McFly July 19th, 2016 at 10:12

“Working for the other side”, this is one of the 2016 dog whistles created by rump.

    • halfwayin July 19th, 2016 at 13:07

Antonio Sabàto Jr. (born February 29, 1972) is an American actor, Stripper, Republican Party thought-leader, and underwear ‘model’. Born in Italy and raised in the United States, Sabàto first became known as a Calvin Klein model, dancing for Chippendales, and for his role on the soap opera General Hospital. He has continued appearing in films and television series throughout the 1990s and 2000s.

Sounds like he has all the qualifications needed to run the RNC.

  12. crc3 July 19th, 2016 at 12:45

Another idiot coming out of the woodwork. He has zero proof of anything yet he spews accusations like they are fact. All the Rump supporters do. The birther crap was the nail on the coffin for me concerning Rump since he led the charge on those lies!!

  13. mistlesuede July 19th, 2016 at 13:53

Now that seemed really sincere! Tonights meeting may even be more entertaining than last night.Let us say our prayers together, off of telepromterslAmen and amen.
