You don’t have to confine your comments to the conventions, as this space is often off-topic. But it does seem to be what’s on our minds right now.

A clean slate, how refreshing. Let’s start it off with something kinda positive.

It seems that we are convening at the Volunteer Park for a double header…but I leave this photo as a reminder of Life is like water flowing under a bridge…sometimes it is raging water, and sometimes it is slowly moving in a downhill direction…Take the time to enjoy life, before it passes under the bridge…

There is nothing like showing off your third trophy wife to prove your family values.

I just wanted to say, in all fairness, Melania presented herself well.
Even if, at times, she seemed like a vampire or something between the accent, her makeup and the way she sharpened her eyes at times.

She would probably be a better First Lady than Donald would be Prez.

That being said, I’d rather not see either of them in the White House.
(But I have a nice house in Nova Scotia bookmarked on Re/Max.) ;)

Of course, now I know that part of that speech was plagiarized so it’s lost some of it’s shine.

      oh well

Is it even….POSSIBLE to embarrass these people anymore?

    • Buford2k11 July 19th, 2016 at 10:01

No…I am starting to believe, as Trump does, that there is NOTHING that can change his supporters small under educated minds…Hate and Fear is the key…stronger emotions than any of the others…We must not let Trump win…We must not let any other republican win in the States…Republicans have told us, they are going about the destruction of our Government…I believe them…We are seeing their efforts everyday, in all the venues…they are the Party of Sedition, as they were when they were the Whig Party…

It is not time to panic, yet…I suppose there will be a time to do so…if Trump gets close to winning…

      • Kick Frenzy July 19th, 2016 at 19:21

There’s a small part of that hopes he wins.

Just so I can move out to the nice house for sale that I found in Nova Scotia. :P

Watching CNN coverage today, Wed., and the coverage is brutal on the repubs. They are bickering among each other that it truly makes them look like the shallow, vindictive, nasty people that they truly are. They must be malnourished because they are now eating their own.Reporter on cnn just said that the public all over the country have been informing the station that most everyone complains that the chants last night to lock her up,pertaining to HC ,were over the top and wrong! Report just in that Trump just made another nasty remark about HC that he will probably need to back track on,as it was to inappropriate even for a campaign.Trump continues to defeat himself with his own big mouth, and confirms how disorganized that party truly is,in spite of their desperate attempt at appearing otherwise!

In 1991,my father left his body at 70 years old.I had no idea that he was sick until I received the phone call.He lived 2000 miles away from me.24 hours before he passed,I had a psychic dream (ive had many thru the years) In this dream that was more than a dream,I saw the proverbial tunnel of light. It was pure bliss and peace that cannot be adequately put in words. My wife woke me out of this state because I was talking to someone and woke her up.I was saying,”take me, take me”.I wanted to enter further into that bliss, but wasnt permitted yet.I have no doubt that I was shown where dad was about to go,where we ALL will one day go,for it is from where we came.Religious nonsense has nothing to do with it.Atheist, agnostic, religious,it matters not.Your sadness will pass, your sister is in peace and will see you again. What I share with you is a subjective experience,I understand that. But it is truth. It is there! MY condolences to you.

    • PlumDumpling July 20th, 2016 at 23:00

Donald Jr. just invoked the military! He looks young enough to enlist. I wonder why he hasn’t?

  13. Mensa Member July 19th, 2016 at 22:17

Now Donald Jr. Is just making stuff up. He claims Hillary is against energy independence! What a load of crock!

  14. Mensa Member July 19th, 2016 at 22:19

Donald Jr. just told the biggest whopper of the convention!

He said that Trump won’t use the presidency for personal enrichment!

Eric Trump say his dad taught him to be honest and not seek personal enrichment.

I waited for applause and even the Republicans weren’t buying that whopper. I think there were a couple of people in the back row who clapped.

  19. Mensa Member July 20th, 2016 at 22:16

Nothing says “family values” like having the kids from your first and second marriages speak after your third wife.

  20. Mensa Member July 20th, 2016 at 22:30

I think Republican party members hate Ted Cruz more than Hillary Clinton.

    And tonight we saw why.
