    There is one simple way to tell that Trump isn’t really wanting a Clinton victory, that Trump isn’t being a double agent.

    Ego.

    For Trump to do this for the Clintons, he would have to be happy to trash his own brand. And since his brand is what he loves most, what he is most concerned with… I can’t see him squandering it on this.

    No, Trump is doing it because he thinks being the Republican candidate will be beneficial to his brand, and he believes he’s good enough to become president (which will further benefit his brand, in his mind).

      I agree…his ego is way to big to be labeled a world class loser…even for a major payday.
      Another, just as likely scenario is that he merely wanted the free publicity that comes with running but was just as surprised as the rest of the world when his campaign took off like a rocket…now he’s stuck having to vie for a job he doesn’t really want…
