Report: Trump cutting back on interviews to avoid opening his mouth

Because when he opens his mouth, words come out of it.

A report on a faction of Donald Trump‘s campaign suggests that his advisors are now trying to limit his TV appearances in order to reduce the amount of controversy he generates with his inflammatory political ideas.

Howard Kurtz of Fox’s Mediabuzz reported today that some of the mogul’s top people are trying to cut down on the media blitz tactics that some say were instrumental in getting enough exposure to clench the GOP nomination. The report noted that the great majority of Trump’s recent interviews have gone to Fox, and also that there are new efforts in place to keep Trump on “friendlier terrain,” putting a quota on his interviews, and keeping control over who gets to talk with him…

Kurtz’s report went on to note the current friction that exists between Trump and CNN and MSNBC, as well as the presumptive nominee’s proclivity for giving his interviews by phone instead of in person. Some advisors behind the move reportedly say that it is up to Trump to expand his base, and that he should allow his spokespeople to spar with the media on his behalf when it comes to controversial matters like invoking the Star of David in an attack on Hillary Clinton.

“In fact”, one top Trump adviser went on to say, “we may cancel the convention. We feel at this point it may be better if everyone just forget about The Donald “

i’ll give this 5 mins. and that’s being generous. tRump will not like what any of his spox have to say on his behalf because he’s smarter than they are and he knows better. you tell ’em tRump, you can speak for yourself, don’t let them tell you what to do. i thought you were the man.

    • Diane Jones July 8th, 2016 at 15:24

You mean you still have the major twit

      • Suzanne McFly July 8th, 2016 at 19:05

Yup and as long as he continues to give his twits a voice, we can continue to let the voters know what he says and believes. We all seem to have short term memories, the more we keep his idiocy in front of the world, the better chance we have that people will vote wisely.
