Nashville officer: ‘I would have done 5’ on Philando Castile
Nashville police officer Anthony Venable bragged on Facebook he would have shot Philando Castile one more time than he was actually shot.
Click here for reuse options!“Yeah. I would have done 5,” in a Facebook conversation regarding the shooting death of Castile, who was shot four times during a traffic stop. Venable said the comment was meant to be sarcastic.
“The police department is treating this matter very seriously and took immediate action, regardless of what he claims the context to have been,” Police Chief Steve Anderson told The Tennessean. Anderson had previously told The Tennessean that he was concerned that people were judging all police by the actions of the police officers involved in the shootings of Sterling and Castile…
Meanwhile, over in Memphis, the Commercial-Appeal reported that Memphis Interim Director Michael Rallings had suspended two officers for a social media post. The officers posted an image on Snapchat that was an illustration of a white hand pointing a gun at an emoji depicting a black child.

this is how you end this sh*t and NOW. there’s no suspensions. there’s immediate discharge. turn in your badge and weapon. you have, regardless of how long you’ve been on the force, lost your pension. there is NO allowing of any officer, regardless of rank, an opportunity to resign so that they may keep their pensions. people lose their minimum wage jobs as a fast food joint for giving away french fries, the behavior these “cops” exhibit warrants immediate termination. as they have already made it clear they are NOT there to protect and serve, but to intimidate and bully and in most cases as it turns out unfortunately, murder/execute unarmed or legally armed non-threatening, men, women and children of color. this bastard, he’s aching to execute, even if it means another 12 y/o.

i agree. but, i will take my rant even further. they MUST all carry their own personal liability insurance. 300 per month. if you pose a risk to the community, you lose your insurance and your job. i’m not suggesting that any old infraction will warrant termination, but i’ll be damned if they don’t get their sh*t together if they were held responsible. and yes FUCK THIS BITCH ASS COP. I have been saying, TAKE THEIR PENSIONS. Every cop that I know, looks forward to their pensions. Dante Servin, shot a girl in the back of her head. He went to court and was freed. When it was time for him to go in front of the police board, he retired, thus he would not have to testify. (He knew they were going to fire him.) He resigned two days before the hearing, so that he would be eligible for his pension. Prior to resigning, he was making $97,000 a year. The city paid Rekia Boyd’s family, four million dollars. Why should he get a pension of over 60 thousand per year? His pension should be gone, however, the preachers and politicians in Chicago, will not press the issue.

The problem is that any red-neck white man can become an arrogant and irresponsible police officer. These types have no respect for the uniform or for the public. I’m sure there are white folks who have come into contact with these ones and despised them also.
