Group called ‘Black Power Political Organization’ claims responsiblity

The group clams on its Facebook page it is responsible for the police shootings in Dallas and that “more assassinations are coming.”

It’s origins and history is not yet known and authorities have not confirmed any political link to the shootings.

The message – posted in the aftermath of the shootings – said: “‪#‎BlackPower‬! ‪#‎BlackKnights‬! Sniper Assassins Take Down Five Police Officers! And More Will Be Assassinated In The Coming Days! Do You Like The Work Of Our Assassins? Get Your Own Sniper Rifle And Join Our Thousands Of Sniper Assassins Worldwide In The Fight Against Oppression!”

The account has since been taken down – it is not yet known if it was removed by Facebook or the group itself.

The group has posted dozens of statements on alleged racially-motivated incidents and threatening violent action over at least the several months.

      Hi Carla…

      If what you say is true Carla, with these groups falsely taking credit, they have not idea of the $hitstorm they will soon be facing.

      I saw what happened in Chicago back in the late 60’s and early 70’s and killing cops is not a good way to fly.

        I somehow doubt that this group even exists. For all we know it’s a prank Facebook page put out by white supremacists.

    Sounds more like some young people sitting with their computer drinking beer and thinking it funny to post crap like that.It is not funny when it endangers lives and pushes other unstable people over the edge.Dont think it should have been given the attention it now receives.Dallas p.d. has stated this was one lone mental case not affiliated with any group.That may or may not be true but it is a crucial point.The true black lives matter people have stated they do not support such misguided violence,but many have infilltrated and perverted the peaceful intentions of others.Its all very sad,and doesnt bode well for our nation.
