Conservatives’ phony outrage about Daily Show abortion tweet

The Daily Show did what the Daily Show does: satire. But anti-abortion conservatives are having conniptions.

The Daily Show tweeted, “celebrate the #SCOTUS ruling! Go knock someone up in Texas!”

The response was swift, with the joke being called “disgusting,” “idiotic,” and “distasteful.”

    do the anti abortion and pro gun crowd in the usa have so little to do? one issue denies rights to people and the other just kills them if they are visible. you have, in a unique way, a really disturbed society without a sense of identity of self respect. What happened?

    Because of failed ratings (I believe), Trevor’s been trying desperately to get Donald Trump to notice him, and hasn’t had any luck so far. This just seems like another lame attempt at seeking notoriety on the show’s part.
