She shot her daughters in their home after an argument.

Christy Sheats, 42, shot and killed her two young daughters, Taylor, 22, and Madison Sheats, 17, during an argument that started inside their Houston-area home and spilled out into a residential street.

“It was a family argument that turned into a shooting,” Fort Bend County Sheriff Troy Nehls told the Houston Chronicle. “But we’re still trying to put the pieces together.”

    The Houston Chronicle has yet to post pictures of the shooter/victims and most assume this was a black family crime because a shot of neighbors outside their houses had a little black girl in the picture. Comments like “thugs from the inner city moving to the suburbs” show up in the comments.

      oh, if it was a black family, that info would be the lede in the headline. if there’s no mention of race, you can bet they’re white. some sort of journalism rule.
