Ban on trans troops to be lifted

Posted by | June 25, 2016 09:08 | Filed under: Good News Politics

As of July 1 the military will no longer ban transgender troops.

Top personnel officials plan to meet as early as Monday to finalize details of the plan, and Deputy Defense Secretary Bob Work could sign off on it by Wednesday, according to a Defense official familiar with the timetable but who spoke on condition of anonymity because officials were not authorized to speak publicly about it. Final approval would come from Defense Secretary Ash Carter, and the announcement will be on the eve of the Fourth of July weekend.

The plan would direct each branch of the armed services over a one-year period to implement new policies affecting recruiting, housing and uniforms for transgender troops, one official said.

As if the military didn’t have enough problems already, now this. Look, letting people in the military who clearly have a mental disorder and can’t figure out who they are will not do anyone any good. At least gays know who they are and what they want, but “transgenders”? Good grief, when is this type of madness going to stop?

You obviously have never served, or were comatose during your enlistment. The military CURRENTLY has lots of people with mental disorders. It has ALWAYS been so. Suicide rates for active duty troops is 48% higher than the national rate.

You have no idea what “transgender” means, do you?
