Click here for reuse options!According to ClickOrlando.com, Sumter County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gun fire at the woman’s home and arrested 69-year-old Howard Sparber.
Deputies said that Sparber fired dozens of gunshots to gain entry to the house, but the woman turned out not to be home at the time.
The suspect was said to still be holding Sig Sauer 9mm semiautomatic handgun when the deputies arrived. He was taken into custody without incident.
Two magazines — one with 15-round capacity and another with 20-round capacity — were also recovered by the deputies.
The woman said that she had been harassed by Sparber with sexual advances since November 2015. She told deputies that she feared for her life after Sparber pointed a gun at her on one occasion.

Every time I look out the window in my neighborhood, people are peaceful, talking and walking, kicking a ball around the parking lot, or whatever. So hearing about all this stuff with guns…is just really weird. What a terrible story. I’m so glad she wasn’t home, but that guy needs to chill in lockup for a while. But when he gets out..what then? If he’s that crazy obsessed, he’ll start again.

A great book to read on this subject is by Gavin De Becker and it’s called “the gift of fear”. He says restraining orders or visits from the police can escalate situations. However every case is different….

Why didn’t that lady report him to the cops when it first happened? It’s automatic “psycho alert” when someone points a gun at you. This guy is a walking shooting incident. On a side note, he will probably be trying to refuse sex in prison. :p
