Nugent ticket sales slashed from $67 to $5

That didn’t stop Ted Nugent for bragging about how well it went, and about “beautiful sexy skinny gals” in his audience.

…Nugent, who occasionally takes time away from making racist and anti-Semitic statements to play music, failed to draw much of a crowd at a Friday night concert, driving the promoters to end “Laconiafest” in New Hampshire a day early, the Laconia Daily Sun reports.

According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Friday night was the kick-off Nugent’s summer 2016 Sonic Baptizm tour. He gave the website an interview after the show where he appeared to have a different concept of reality, boasting that it had gone well.

“There sure were a gaggle of beautiful, sexy, skinny gals out there tonight and as always, it is incredibly inspiring to see everybody smiling and dancing to my songs,” he told UCR. “Tonight was an out of the park musical home run! Lucky, lucky me!”

According to the Sun, the festival has been beset by abysmal ticket sales and failed to draw much of an audience Friday — even though tickets to see Nugent were slashed from $67 for general admission to $5. The band scheduled to play Saturday cancelled.

What’s worse is that the promoters appeared to have picked up and run, leaving the city and employees with unpaid bills and wages, according to the Sun.

I would charge Nugent $67 to use my bathroom

    • alpacadaddy June 19th, 2016 at 11:28

Don’t bother, he has a long & well documented history of avoiding bathrooms (and the draft) by instead, crapping his pants, which he then uses to create his endless hate-filled nonsensical screeds!

My memory of a local nugent concert was waiting to be patted down for drugs, alcohol and weapons…while dipsh*t was on stage parading around with a bow shooting at pictures of osama bin laden…I missed most of his show (didnt go to see him anyway), I went to see ZZ Top…THEY put on a much better show…without the weapons.

Has “The N0000dge” figured out yet that there are better places to poop instead of you pants?

  5. Guy Lauten June 19th, 2016 at 12:22

ah yes… the much-ballyhood “free market” speaks, and what it says is “Five bucks? To see Ted Nugent??? Get real.”

    • bpollen June 20th, 2016 at 04:26

Maybe if I got $4.95 in change… it might be worth the nickel just to heckle!

Hey Ted! That sounds just like the last song!
How many children are in your dressing room?
Did you crap in those pants?

  6. JimmyPete June 19th, 2016 at 12:27

who are these people who would pay 5 bucks to see Nugent, that is way too much.

    • Tommie June 19th, 2016 at 12:59

I would pay………to not see him!

  7. David Ish June 19th, 2016 at 12:28

Maybe Nugent pay people to attend?

    • Mike June 19th, 2016 at 12:37

He has that kinda cash …???

      • Tommie June 19th, 2016 at 12:58

I heard the NRA pays well!

  8. labman57 June 19th, 2016 at 12:34

Most concert-goers probably assumed that Teddy was behind bars, since he had previously bragged that — should Obama be reelected — he would “do something” so outrageous that he would end up in prison.

  9. Mike June 19th, 2016 at 12:38

If I had a fiver that was on fire I wouldn’t give it up to see Nugent…I’d jam it back in my pocket and deal with the burn.

    • Tommie June 19th, 2016 at 12:57

      Feel the Bern, Mike! Hahaha!

  10. Tommie June 19th, 2016 at 12:57

Wow you mean all the NRA people, Trump supporters, or (haha, the military) didn’t want to go, even for 5 bucks!

  11. Tommie June 19th, 2016 at 13:00

Homer Simpson loves Ted, wonder if he went?

  12. MBJR June 19th, 2016 at 13:54

Well one can hope this is a trend and a good sign. Trumps popularity is tanking along with this loudmouth. Thats all the GOP has is loud BS with no substance. It’s catching up with them and they are toast!

    • Jus'speakin'th'truth June 19th, 2016 at 15:52

Well one can hope this is a trend and a good sign.

“According to City Manager Scott Myers the management of the
festival defaulted on its payments to the city for the cost of public
safety services while two individuals who did not wish to be identified
by The Daily Sun Friday said that contractors, vendors and suppliers
also found themselves out of pocket.”

Yes, we can hope to bankrupt cities and stiff the 99%’ers! Go, Hillary!

You are clearly a MORON. Your username says it all: Jus’speakin’th’truth — only a true hillbilly would write like that.

The problems at Laconiafest had nothing to do with Ted Nugent. At least he was honorable enough to fulfill his commitment.

the $hit in his pants to avoid the draft is honorable. you sheep. LOLOLOL

      • Dwendt44 June 19th, 2016 at 22:08

$5 to see this pedophile is way overpriced.

        • whatthe46 June 19th, 2016 at 22:11

reading about this pr!ck for free is just as bad.

    • Richard Banville June 19th, 2016 at 23:58

Filth like Ted Nugent can never be called honorable, except by someone who is even worse filth. Shame on you.

    • bpollen June 20th, 2016 at 01:11

Ignore the fact the the article never said that Nugent was the cause. It did say he didn’t draw much of a crowd. That’s actually documented multiple places that aren’t on this site, so, what the hell, make up shite to complain about. Then complain about OTHERS being untruthful. There’s no more effective trollish rhetorical tools than projection and prevarication.

  14. Dale Kettring June 19th, 2016 at 14:54

Another liberal twist of the truth.

Seems like the twist is on your end.

he’s not going to appreciate your facts. you know this right?

But speaking truth to Power Stupid is its own reward!

  15. Suzanne McFly June 19th, 2016 at 17:11

Of course the “girls” were skinny, meth heads normally are.

  16. bpollen June 20th, 2016 at 00:53

40 years ago, I went to a number of concerts where Tedo Bear was the headliner. And my friends and I would always walk out before he started playing. Even reducing it to 70s pricing isn’t enough incentive anymore, apparently.

  17. Ken_Cooper June 20th, 2016 at 10:46

How IMPRESSIVE — “skinny girls” in the audience!! Wow! That’s the most important part of a concert: skinny girls. I think Teddy is one step away from being declared criminally insane. It’s obvious his “fans” must be insane as well. For his next “concert” he should perform in front of stuffed animals! He’d still think it “went well”.
