    I saw that yesterday and rejected the notion, for many reasons…it is there for a reason, and we are not smart enough to figure it out..we need to worry about our Fourth Amendment as it seems to have been pushed away in favor of “safety”…Ben Franklin and others had some pretty good thoughts on this…

      I fault interpretation. It doesn’t say that all numb-nuts should have the most advanced and destructive weapons possible. The entire premise is arguably obsolete. A well-regulated militia is NOT necessary to the security of this free State. When you have the most advanced military in the world, and you spend over 50% of your budget on the military, a yerkoff of yokels sportin’ pea-shooters is a very unfunny Keystone Kops version of a circular firing squad.

        One could argue that it’s still right, but the terminology has changed. A “well-regulated militia” still exists, today… it’s called a Police Force.
