Mateen, 31, has been identified as the shooter at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub.

Mateen was born to Afghan parents in 1986. CBS News reports Mateen has no apparent criminal history and that authorities are investigating whether he had ties to Islamic terrorism.

CBS News reports that authorities are “leaning towards Islamic terrorism” as a motive. Law enforcement sources said the shooting had similarities to the terror attacks in Paris and Brussels.

    So because he has a foreign sounding name, he’s an Islamic terrorists? How about just a domestic terrorist? Lone gunman shoots up a gay nightclub? C’mon, you can do better than that.

        i won’t call this islamic terrorism, but, it definitely is domestic terrorism born from the GOPissers and it definitely is a HATE crime.

      He had previously been on the radar of the FBI.
      He also called 911 and pledged allegiance to ISIS during the shooting.

      So that may have something to do with it.
