Doctors may help man commit suicide because he can’t accept being gay

The Belgian man wants to be euthanized.

What makes this report particularly shocking is that Belgian doctors may even sign off on it.

The 39-year-old man, whom the BBC refers to pseudonymously as “Sébastien,” grew up in a Catholic family and lived with a mother who had long suffered from dementia. At the age of 15 he realized that he was attracted to men and he’s been fighting with the shame of being a homosexual for the past 24 years, which have also included 17 years of psychological therapy and treatments.

The BBC says that “Sébastien’s request for euthanasia has been accepted initially” but adds that he “now faces further assessments to determine whether his case fits within the law.”

Ah Europe … Where they demand you file paper work before your state sanctioned suicide can be approved … I’m not gonna miss the future one bit

ah hel!, some folks here in europe like to jump in front of the TGV – at 380kms/hr, it’s a fine way to go and little to clean up.

this is where organized religion once again proves it’s not a good thing and it rears its ugly head. this guy was gay from day one, he was a catholic, and he hated himself so much, that he IS willing to die rather than to be himself and happy. um, i wonder if he’s pro-life.
