The Associated Press is reporting that Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi received a campaign donation from Donald Trump at concurrent with her office deciding not to pursue charges against him for Trump University.

The new disclosure from Attorney General Pam Bondi’s spokesman to The Associated Press on Monday provides additional details around the unusual circumstances of Trump’s $25,000 donation to Bondi.

The money came from a Trump family foundation in apparent violation of rules surrounding political activities by charities. A political group backing Bondi’s re-election, called And Justice for All, reported receiving the check Sept. 17, 2013 — four days after Bondi’s office publicly announced she was considering joining a New York state probe of Trump University’s activities, according to a 2013 report in the Orlando Sentinel.

After the check came in, Bondi’s office nixed suing Trump, citing insufficient grounds to proceed

Conflict of interests? What conflict? Their interests completely coincided. No conflict at all. Drumpf wanted to give some money, the AG was more than willing to take it.

      OPM!

I doubt that trump would willingly part with any of his own, most little insecure money-grubbers are like that.

usually most folks will try to flee a sinking ship, however there are some who for unknown $$$ will stay behind to be sucked down also.

IF other state’s AG’s have found sufficient cause to seek legal action against the trump u interstate wire fraud under the 1343 code, one can only wonder why the FL AG can’t unless there is a $$$ conspiracy?

seems to me like the Feds should be looking into this even if their director is a ‘proud’ republican.

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if it was outright bribery, Bondi is known as a player and is the AG for the single biggest criminal in American history.

if a government official who participates in a bribery or kickback scheme could be charged with wire fraud. Even if no one actually suffers any losses, the public has been deprived of the sworn duty of the official to provide honesty in their performances.
If this is the case, Pamela Jo could and should be charged in the federal courts.

no retirement pension from FL for her!
