Cuban: Trump hasn’t proven he’s good at anything besides real estate

Mark Cuban also told me he’s not sure “which Donald Trump you’re going to get” if he’s elected. I asked him why he’d be a good vice president for either party, and he told me it’s becasue he’s “fiercely independent.”

COLMES: You can easily be on either ticket. Your politics are right down the middle right?

CUBAN: I’m fiercely independent and so I can bring value in terms of my technological skills. I’m very comfortable there. I can bring value because I’ve got great relationships on both sides of the aisle. I get along with politicians from both sides..

I haven’t read his book in a long, long time, but if I remember right, they were all about renegotiating debt, which he did very well, but when you have to renegotiate debt, that means the first deal you cut was pretty bad. And so I would say, Donald, if you want my money, then let’s stick to real estate, because you haven’t proven you’re good at anything else…

Here’s the core problem. The people he’s trying to get to vote for him are his core audience are not the people who give money, and he’s going to all these fundraisers trying to get money from people. He needs a lot of money. So I don’t know if he’s going to be successful in raising the cash the Republicans need.
